This is a retelling of the events leading up to Breath of the Wild. As I was playing through the game, I felt the story had a lot of potential but the player was left with a lot of unanswered questions. This story is my interpretation of what happened and my attempt to fill in the gaps. COMPLETED! Keep an eye out for the sequel coming soon...

"The past is just a story we tell ourselves. That's all it is." After an unexpected visit, both Zelda and Link find themselves thrown into Link's childhood but, the past is difficult to remember. Though the Calamity is defeated, soon both Zelda and Link find themselves in a battle with the old Link and the new. Post/Pre BOTW

Having kept their relationship hidden, Mipha is bound and determined to complete her duty to her beloved, Link, by creating his armor from her own scales, presenting it to him on her birthday. However, just before she's able to do so, the whole of Zora's Domain realizes that this Hylian might have brought something along far more sinister than good tidings.

In the final battle, tragedy strikes again. If you lost everything, but had the chance to right the wrong, what would you pay to get it all back?
