It is Beca's sophomore year at Barden, and she does not want to live in a dorm again with another roommate. Chloe doesn't want Beca to live in a dorm either, so she has her own suggestion. The year is almost over and Beca gets a surprise visit from her mother, Grace. And the older woman sure knows how to shake things up in the DJ's life.
