Home cleaning is probably a job that every stay-home mother hates to do, however it is something that one can not try to escape from. That is much more true if you ask any mom that has young kids in the house. Young youngsters aged 2 and below spend practically all of their time playing on the floor of the family room. Children of this age are especially interested and who's to blame since their brain development is taking place at terrific rate at such age. This means that they'll put their hands on any thing that they encountered and most youngsters want to put things into their mouths. Now, that is regarding the visible objects that can be quite dangerous. Elements which are invisible to the naked eye including bacteria and viruses can be equally, or even, more threatening.

Being a mother with two children myself, I know how household chores can really be painful and unpleasant. Unless you're affluent enough (unfortunately, I am not) to hire a nanny or domestic helper to simply help you take care of the house, you need a dependable assistant. When I talk with many people, we arrive at the agreement that vacuum may be the next best thing for those folks who can not afford such luxury.

Identifying a vacuum cleaner that lives up to one's expectation is not as trivial as it seems. Perhaps I had been too naive previously. Perhaps I'd been too trusting to the sales man in the department store. Maybe I had been too easily sold by the advertising taglines used by some of the vacuum producers. In the past 5 years alone, I've changed my vacuum cleaner 4 times. Any simple child could do the maths which simply means that I've had to change my vacuum at least one time per year. My first 3 vacuum cleaners did not last more than 9 months which will be really annoying. After 3 trials, I eventually found the one that can last for over 2 yrs. Actually speaking, the cleaner that I am using currently does its job quite well and I'm pleased with it.

As you can easily see, I've experienced painful experiences in picking out a vacuum cleaner. Something I know for certain is as mom with young kids and toddlers, time is a luxury and there's not much we are able to spare to do extensive product research. This has led a lot of us to put our blind trust to the manufacturer but the sad truth is marketing campaigns often contain more hype than truth. I think, they tend to over-promise and under deliver.

I'm no vacuum cleaner expert and I don't comprehend the sophisticated design process that goes into the making of those vacuum cleaners. But my first-hand experiences with threee frustrating vacuum purchases and being a mother with young toddlers myself, it provides me good insights on the essential things that need to be considered in choosing one. I hope the experiences that I share in my own weblog can lessen the pain that every busy mother must undergo in choosing their vacuum cleaners.
