I'm just a simple girl who likes to write. I took a long hiatus from writing as life got the better of my time. Thankfully, I finally found enough inspiration to sit and write my ideas again (and to get them out there!). Actually, I have this website to thank for finding motivation to write again. I've been shamelessly reading fanfiction after fanfiction on a daily basis for almost a year without contributing anything to the pool. One day, while reading a particularly heart wrenching Mai Hime fanfic about Natsuki leaving Shizuru for Nao, I got this overwhelming desire to replicate that raw emotion (without plagiarizing, of course). I guess I'm a sucker for artificial heartbreak, sorta keeps me alive (weird huh?). So I asked myself, if I were to write a heartbreaking scene between my two favorite characters, what would that look like? I got a little too engrossed in the characterization and emotions, that the scene I was going to write grew into an ongoing story that is now "This Heart Will Mend". Now I'm not even sure how my own story will end...I find this rather exciting. Anyway, I'm not all dark and brooding, but I do like angsty pieces. I think every now and then, I may write cutesy stuff ;) ... We'll just see how it goes. I'm just excited to be writing again.
