![]() Author has written 1 story for Artemis Fowl. Hi ho. My name is intentionally misspelled. I am 22 and trying my luck in the writing field. This is mostly going to be diversions from my current writing or just ideas off the top of my head, and to get better. I'm going to make a solemn vow and tell you that any story I make will be completed as I grow weary of uncompleted stories on this site. I like reading, watching movies, playing video games, and in general everything a shy 20 year old does. Whenever a multi-chapter story gets published if anyone has any questions you're more that welcomed to question me. Hey even if you don't want to talk about my stories, I'm willing to talk. My major is currently psychology. My email is partheon@rocketmail.com My handle is Partheon. -Partheon Since I have no website of my own I am going to use this space to muse. I don't know how many people actually read these things, so I guess it's like having a blog: Elfen Lied: The anime, I have no desire to every read the manga. So recently I re watched the show, the first time a couple years back, and was again arguing with it. The show and I have different philosophies I guess, they think the world is dark (with some light), and I think the world is light (with varying levels of darkness, shadows to pitch-black). The show is gratuitous bloody and nudity, but it doesn't get in the way of the show too much (unlike Knight's of Ramune, an unappreciated naked gem). I watched until the ending, and I guess that's what I want to talk about. The ending is what I would call an open-ended, season finale. It is not a series finale. I understand that it's nice to end a series on symbolism, but it raises more unnecessary questions and leaves everyone lacking. Recently I watched the series Teen Titans for the first time. My only experience with Teen Titans before that were the comics, which were always pretty good. The show has its ups and downs to me. The lessons at the end, usually directed to teaching a lesson sometimes come across as forced, and it can be a little immature; however, these gripes are minor to me. I think its is a very good show, and was very enjoyable to watch. Now on to the fanfiction part of it. Not the greatest, not that I am anyone to say anything badly about someones writing, but I was underwhelmed. So I am thinking about writing a few stories. When I was backpacking I made a friend that apparently a long time ago wrote on fanfiction.net, and he wrote primarily Teen Titan fanfiction. He just left and left a bunch of stories incomplete. I think I am going to take his old stories and rewrite them. Stories of mine below. Treatment: So far my ideas for treatment: A mutual building up of a relationship. Issues such as trust, willingness to be vulnerable, willingness to talk, manipulation, age, and the whole you know species thing will come up. As far as I can tell we now have a precedent (Colfer you magnificent bastard, I read your book!) with Turnball and Leonar, but I don't know if that counts so much... the lovely tale of forced love, one sided love, down right possessiveness... I'm not a cynic, I do believe with love you can overcome any obstacles, but the obstacles are still there. They need to be overcome! Odds that seem daunting and crushing when you're alone are just that, daunting and crushing because you are alone when you should be together. Sigh. I guess I'm a little bit of a romantic too. Ok so I'm thinking of dividing the updates into two separate chapters. Instead of trying to write an entire day in one setting there will be one day chapter before Artemis goes to his appointments, and a second chapter set during the night. What do you think? Climate: Ok, this is a story way, way far away that would take place after Treatment. I have ideas, but too many to really make sense of. It has to do with Artemis and the Project, the time before Frond declared himself King of the People, Lily Frond, Opal(s), the inner workings of the Peoples Government, extinct families of the people, mythology, and how many times Artemis can be made a fool of in ridiculously baggy jeans. Squaring the Circle: Away in a distant future, a young man of 20 sits and writes a fanfic of Elfen Lied. He boogeles his mind trying to think of a plot. |
