John's not kitted out for a death match today, and Moran is only armed with a half-eaten almond horn.

In the blink of an eye, Merlin goes from laughing in the halls of Camelot to lying on the ground, hurt and alone, in an unfamiliar, ruined castle. Now all he has to do is figure out what's happened.

John stumbles into a rather unexpected person while on an impromptu shopping trip.

"Stay away from him!" The visiting prince snapped his eyes to meet Arthur's challenge. "Why?" he sneered. "He's just a mouthy servant. He needed to be taught a lesson." An old acquaintance of Arthur's is in Camelot and Merlin suffers because of it.

In the wake of Uther's death, Arthur goes too far in an argument with Merlin and is left to try and pick up the pieces.

When John unintentionally foils one of Moriarty's schemes, he becomes the target of Jim's next strike against Sherlock.

After the 1st hostage in TGG, Sherlock called Jim, figured out who he was, and now Jim comes to harass the consulting detective at 221B when they're both bored. Jim decideds that John is fairly interesting. Sherlock takes offense. Competition ensues.

In which Merlin learns that while Arthur enjoys insulting him, he despises when others insult his court sorcerer. Set in that distant day when Arthur is king. Not slash.

Merlin is really good at keeping secrets, but surely he's not that good. Chapter 8 - Arthur: Part II Arthur's just found out that Merlin has magic, and he's about to find out he was the last to know... somehow, this annoys him more.

When Merlin appears at home, sullen and perhaps a bit heart-sick, he disappears up into his bed. She figures his boyfriend will show up eventually. What she DOESN'T figure is that Merlin's boyfriend is the King of sodding England.
