Hello, all! I am Nimue and welcome to my world of imagination. I love creative writing, so I channel most of it into my fanfiction. Typically, I write about my favorite fantasy world, Harry Potter, but you may occasionally find something from a different world here and there (like my Fruits Basket fic that is on an indefinite hiatus in the mean time).

As much as it pains me to say it, there will occasionally be periods where my updates with be sporadic at best, but I try to update with something more or less every few weeks. Unfortunately, I am only human, and life loves to throw lemons at a person (especially one with my luck, haha), so I will typically vanish while I attempt to make gallons of the best darn lemonade you've ever tasted!!!

My main story is my Marauder-era fic-project-thing called A Magical Garden. It is a "Jily" fic that chronicles the life of Lily Evans from the beginning of her seventh year to her death in 1981. I try to follow canon as JKR states it (she is the goddess in charge, of course!), but I do take creative liberties here and there (and the story is pre-Pottermore, and may not follow what she announces later in the course of that). I also write one-shots about the secondary characters in MG every so often. They will always be labeled with "MGverse" and will specify where they take place in the timeline (if relevant). Sometimes those are inspired by reviews and suggestions, so please, if you have a request, shoot me a PM or mention it in a review, and I will keep it in mind (I credit when someone inspired me!).

As for writing, one of my biggest inspirations is the Romance author Julia Quinn (read her stuff if you are into that genre...they are all SO GOOD!!), and I will sometimes pay homage to her in my stories (especially MG). If you are a fan of any of her work, you may recognize those little things here and there (like MG-Lily's aversion to a person's ability to raise one eyebrow). I may not always point those out, I know where they came from. They are little Easter Eggs, as it were. Even if I don't credit them in the story as they happen, I know who inspired them, and I will not claim ownership to the idea. I love her, and I don't want my homages to be misconstrued as anything but! *hearts and sparkles*
