Kevin is tired. Tired of being forced to do things he doesn't want to do, to act in ways he finds unappealing, and of his own pathetic cowardice. He's kept up the facade he's been hiding behind for three years since it's easier to lie than face the burden of being himself. He knows that the charade can't last forever, and now that it's senior year he's finally ready for it to end.
