What's in Orochimaru's lab challenge.

I have read many stories on this sight where Naruto at some point finds an intact laboratory left behind by Orochimaru. Usually in the story He reports it to the Hokage or cleans the lab out and pretty much uses it as a hiding or storage place. In this one Naruto finds something or a groups of somethings and he decides to finish what ever it was Orochimaru was working on or at least use it to his advantage.

1. What Naruto finds can be anything pretty much from experimental Jutsu, test subjects, The prototype for the curse seal, Blood samples for Bloodlines, all of the above. or none of the above. You are invited in this challenge to channel your inner Mad scientist so be creative.

2. Morality should be from grey to dark (though if you want to try a good Naruto feel free to try it). I can not see a good Naruto wanting to continue with Orochimaru's work. Regardless of Naruto's morality Naruto decides that what ever Orochimaru left behind is something he wants to work on, be it from simple curiosity to selfish reasons, or if a dark Naruto story something to help with revenge or what ever else his goal might be.

3. Discovery. Naruto can find the lab in any way you see fit at any age. It could be while running from a mob, or during a prank, or during a D-ranked mission like many stories do. Regardless of how he finds the lab no one other than him can know about it at least at first.

4. Test subjects. To continue with the research at some point he will need test subjects He can get them from any source you see fit. Be it kidnapping, Capturing bandits, Grave robbing, Manipulating them, even self experimentation (if he knows about Kyuubi, and Kyuubi is willing to help fix him if he messes up) or all of the above. If kidnapping then keep the amounts realistic to many kidnappings would bring suspicion.

5. Academics. Naruto can decide to act like an idiot at the academy to keep suspicions away from what ever it is he is working on. Or he could be rookie of the year, and anywhere in between. For all I care he could decide he doesn't want to be a shinobi at all and decides to be a mad scientist full time. Though it is not required it is recommended that he fail the exam and steals the forbidden scroll to copy it.

6. Orochimaru & Danzo. Orochimaru & Danzo can be hostile, indifferent, or friendly with Naruto. They could be oblivious to what he is doing or discover what he is doing. If Orochimaru or Danzo find out they could even offer to assist him, or try to destroy him. How they respond is up to you.

7. Kyuubi. Naruto can know about kyuubi from the beginning from overhearing it, the forbidden scroll theft, or an accident. If you want Naruto can even experiment on Kyuubi himself or with his charka. While I would prefer Naruto to not grow tails and ears if there is a good reason for it go for it

8. Pairings. Anything but Yaoi no genderbending either unless it is femhaku (I don't care what Kishi says Haku is a girl)

9. Other than that have fun and use your imagination have fun and write a great story. Please PM me if you accept the challenge.

Naruto as the Kyuubi challenge.

We have all read those stories where all the villagers think Naruto is really the Kyuubi in human form, in this challenge they are actually right and the sandaime is wrong. On the night of the sealing Minato makes a big mistake (either on the seal or when summoning the shinigami) where instead of sealing the Kyuubi the shinigami turns Naruto into the Kyuubi in human form, but without the Kyuubi's memories and therefore without his hate. Of course Sarutobi and Jiraiya will still think Naruto is just a jinchuuriki.

1. Morality for Naruto can be what ever you want it to be from good to down right evil criminally insane. It can even change over the course of the story as Naruto becomes more aware of his powers and surroundings.

2. Villagers and the counsel. They can downright hate Naruto, or act like in cannon where they simply ignore him.

3. Academics. Naruto can be very smart or his cannon self in the academy. He however will always have trouble with the basic clone simply because his chakra is red bijuu chakra. Which no human would know how to teach him proper chakra control for bijuu charka levels. Lets face it Kyuubi has the power to level mountains and entire cities, mortal chakra control exercises will do Naruto little good in controlling it.

4. Chakra affinities. The Naruto wiki lists Kyuubi's chakra affinities as Fire and wind. So those will also be Naruto's at a minimum, Feel free to give him others though. If you want you can also allow him to use Shakuton (scorch release) as it is made up of fire and wind as well. I figure if the Yonbi gets lava release and the Gobi steam release why not give Kyuubi scorch release.

5. Discovery of the fact he is a bijuu. Can be while still in the academy, after the forbidden scroll theft or at anytime. He can discover the fact that he is in fact not a jinchuuriki but an actual Bijuu how ever you want use your imagination. How I would recommend he discovers it is while he is meditating one day he inadvertently uses tailed beast telepathy and arrives in the Deep Psyche where he met the Bijuu in cannon. There the other Bijuu realize that he is in fact a Bijuu like themselves. How the other Bijuu react to it can vary from some Bijuu hating him and wanting to kill him to others offering to help him learn to use his Bijuu abilities. After Naruto discovers the truth he can keep it a secret or tell someone. If he tells someone then they can react any way you want from trying to kill him to acceptance

6. Akatsuki. Regardless of the fact he is not really a jinchuuriki they will still be after him just the same.

7. Abilities. Chakra Transfer Technique, Continuous Tailed Beast Balls, Negative Emotions Sensing, Nine-Tails Beam, Nine-Tails Twister, Tailed Beast Ball, Tailed Beast Chakra Arms, Tailed Beast Shockwave, Tailed Beast Telepathy, full and partial transformation, increased healing factor, and optional scorch release. I would also make him resistant to control by the sharingan due to the seal minato used other wise Itachi and other uchihas would have it way to easy when fighting him. Other than that feel free to give him any other mortal abilities and jutsus after all for most issues Naruto might encounter a tailed beast ball isn't the best solution because of the amount of collateral damage it would cause.

8. summonings. I don't care one way or the other if he gets summonings or not. If he is allowed to summon foxes because he is kyuubi then I would recommend allowing him have at least another contract. Toads are fine especially if you want him to learn sage mode.

9. Pairings. Anything but Yaoi no genderbending either unless it is femhaku (I don't care what Kishi says Haku is a girl). Recommendations female bijuu like Matatabi and kokuo (they sound like females based on voice) and female jinchuuriki like nii yugito and fuu.

10. Konoha. After the discovery he can either still love Konoha or hate it. Same goes for Konoha they can either accept him or hate him. For all I care they could try to kill him or banish him. (storyline would make a good set up for a banishment story I think).

Road to Ninja Personality Challenge.

I was watching Road to Ninja again yesterday and I started to wonder. What could in a basically Cannon Naruto world cause some of the quirks seen in the movie? And how would they effect the people with the quirks and the people around them. Some would be hard to explain so if you are not able to explain why the change happen at least show how it would effect the person with the quirks and the people around them. For example you decide to do a Kiba that hates Dogs. He hates dogs so the Inuzuka don't give him Akamaru. Meaning he can't use Inuzuka jutsu. So the Inuzuka might or might not banish him. Meaning Kiba has to learn other jutsu besides instead of the Inuzuka ones.

The available quirks are

Potential heir to the title of Super Pervert. Neji. If only Jiraiya could have been born with the Byakugan.

Slightly psychopath Hinata. Her and Anko should probably be best friends.

Shy quiet Ino.

Playboy non revenge driven Sasuke who in all probability wants to have a harem to restart his clan the fun way.

Skinny genius Choji

idiot and goofy Shikamaru.

Shino that is afraid of and doesn't like insects.

Dog hater and cat lover Kiba

Tired unyouthful Gai

Kakashi Flames of youth edition.

Clumsy bad with weapons TenTen.

Evil TonTon that looks like he could eat the Juubi

Sakura are not included because her Her alter ego didn't really show any personality quirks. Naruto isn't included because there are many stories already that show reasons Naruto would turn evil and act like his alter ego. Lee isn't included because other than being a little more perverted his personality didn't change much.

Feel free to use as many quirks as you like in a story just show how they effect the world and relationships around them because of the change.

Pairing: No Yaoi. No gender bending either unless it is femhaku. (Don't care what Kishi says Haku is a girl) Recommended to have the pairings fit personality traits, such as shyIno finding some confidence from Naruto much like cannon Hinata did.

Rants

Naruto should be promoted rant.

Honestly Naruto should have been promoted after he kicked the shit out of Gaara during the invasion arc. But Bakamoto wouldn't do that because that would hurt his secret yaoi lover Sasuke's ego.

Can't possibly promote someone on the basis of stopping a Bijuu from destroying the village now could we? He also survived a fight between three Sannin granted Tsunade had to save him, but he did save her from Kabuto before that. I guess saving the future hokage's life just doesn't warrant a promotion. All this even before the time skip.

Even after the time skip no promotion. Skipping the rescue Gaara arc because Naruto acted pretty pathetic then. He then completed his father's jutsu and killed a member of Akatsuki Kakuzu with it. Even when Kakashi had trouble killing him. Still no promotion. You would think that they would have given him a promotion, after defeating Pain someone who mind you had defeated everyone else in the village, and had even killed both Kakashi and Jiraiya. He was a second away from killing Tsunade as well.

Not only that but I just finished reading the ranks of people in the new Naruto movie. They only made Sakura and Shikamaru jonin. WTF!!! How the hell is Naruto still a genin three years after the war? I mean come on I am sure there has been a few chunin exams since the war. They can't find a team with just two genin on it to add Naruto to just for an exam? Him and Sasuke sealed Kaguya. Then Naruto beat Sasuke after he went batshit insane again. Worse part is Kakashi knows he saved all the kage from being assassinated and for some reason won't promote him.

Sorry Naruto you are still a genin that technically still has to take orders from Sakura and other people that are way weaker than you are. I just would find it foolish to actually send Naruto to a chunin exam when he is S-ranked easily.

Ever heard of a field promotion? Yes every military organization in the world has them. So Naruto should stay a genin just because others that are weaker than him have had more down time to actually get a chance to attend an exam that everyone agrees he would destroy all the competition in? Yeah that makes sense *sarcasm*.

How I imagine Naruto would do in a chunin exam even just after returning from the training trip with Jiraiya.

1. Shows up takes the stupid first test demolishes it.

2. Team battles Naruto shows up with all of the scrolls at the tower leaving a bunch of beaten half dead genin in the forest of death or where ever else they hold the second stage.

3. Naruto and what ever team he is sent with are the only ones left for one on one matches. Naruto either destroys them or his opponents forfeit to avoid getting destroyed. If his opponents forfeit knowing Bakamoto and his Uchiha loving ways they would say he didn't show enough skills to make chunin. Even though he just left a trail of devastation through the forest of death.

I am not saying make him an automatic Jonin right away, but come on at least make that man a chunin. I find it insulting that technically he still has to take orders from such people as (Have nothing against most of these people) Sakura, Hinata, Kiba, Shino, Tenten, Lee, Ino, and Choji. Shikamaru I could understand because of his IQ the others are no where near as strong as Naruto. Why the hell should he still be a genin just because of not having time to attend a test everyone knows he would demolish anyway? Cases like Naruto are the reasons Field promotions exist in the first place.

Even more so after the war they should have just promoted him. I guess saving the world and all five of the kage's lives just doesn't justify a promotion. Maybe next time Naruto should just let Sasuke ram his chidori through their hearts while they are defenseless. While he is at it he should throw in those two idiot elders you always see complaining about everything to Tsunade.
