![]() Author has written 17 stories for Ninja Turtles, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. First off, I am not from Texas - for those of you who might be curious. Mo-Texas is simply a nickname that was given to me years upon years ago, and has stuck now for at least a good decade. I've been to Texas maybe once and hardly remember a thing about it. Anyhow, I didn't have a clue what fanfiction was until I started college and it was introduced to me by my freshman year roommate. Initially, I had no intentions of joining this world of extreme fandom. It started off as an experiment indulging in a modern-day pastime - I was simply enjoying the minds and creativity of writers who were fans of the same fictional universes I was: Recess/Aladdin/Disney, TMNT... But of course, I was oh so naive to the fact that I was getting sucked into this fantastical world where anything could happen. My favorite fictional characters were at the mercy and subjugation of their fans - the possibilities had no limit. So I found myself this past summer (2014) delving further into this phenomenon, and before I knew it, I had actually set up an account with FFN to keep up with my favorite stories. In conjunction with this sudden urge to join the site and follow people - of course, and almost without needed mention - was/is my serious obsession with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. To attempt to explain my love for these fantastically developed characters would be pointless - you wouldn't understand a word, mainly because there are none. Just know that I love the Ninja Turtles - and it's not a new love either. I've been in complete adoration of their stories and adventures ever since I was a sprightly little thing in the 90's begging to watch Secret of the Ooze for the millionth time. I know what you're thinking: Seriously, the sequel?? Yes, the sequel. At the time it was my favorite. Now, though Secret of the Ooze still holds a sentimental place in my heart, the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film is, first and foremost, my favorite...though Michael Bay's production wasn't half bad. Anyhow, 2014 was a summer chalk-full of the 80's, 90's, and 2k's turtles in television, movie, and coloring book form, and upon my longing for even more of the turtles, one day it suddenly struck me..."Why the shell don't I just write a TMNT story myself?"...*cricket cricket* I know. But hey, what kind of TMNT fan are you if you don't roll around in the glory of turtle puns? And so, I have finally joined this clan of super fans and gone ahead and written my own fanfiction. The arc of a true nerd...Just kidding, I was already a major nerd before all of this happened - like way back since the beginning of time. Anywho, I am an aspiring writer and take my writing seriously. If you read my stories, I'm down for constructive criticism. I've written plenty of original pieces, but "Pot of Ashes" is my very first fanfiction piece, so on that one in particular I ask for a little bit of slack. Aside from all of that, enjoy! Because I happened upon this, I had to put it in here: I am the girl that doesn't go to school dances, or games, and if I do go, I sit in a corner and read a book. I am the girl that people look through when I say something. I am the girl that spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal. I am the girl that people call weird and a freak either behind my back or to my face. I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time talking to a girl friend on a cell phone or regular phone. I am the girl that has stopped to smell the flowers and jump and splash in the rain. BUT I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is, doesn’t care if people call her weird (it's a compliment), who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more, and knows the importance of the little things. Copy and paste this onto your account, and add your name to the list, if you are anything like me, so the girls who are different and unique can know in their weakest time that they are unique but not alone.: Iheartjake1220, FaerieRose13, Dancer4Life15,Marigold Winters, SparklingTopazEyes, LuigiWife1551, 7HockeyStarVampireObsessed7, Alice Diana Brenner, Shadows on a Love-Struck Soul, J.Gabrielle, petrelli heiress, Kitsune Demon Girl, Smile-I'mTheEndOfAllThatYouSee, rainswings, Athena the wise girl,chocolatecupquake17, EmbersArmy, mo.texas55 |
