UPDATE: Now that the series finale of Avatar is over, you'll most likely find me drowning my sorrows reading well written Zutara fics. I have one planned out in my head--I just need to get around to uploading it.

To tell the truth, I used to be a rabid Kataang shipper, one of those who threw random objects at the tv when Aang didn't say anything to Katara at Kataang moments, and was constantly rooting for Aang to "go get his girl!" And then Crystal Catacombs/Day of the Black Sun happened. And I jumped ship and got pulled onboard HMS Zutara instead. I have nothing against Kataangers and Maikoians--I happen to be good friends with a Kataanger (whom I eventually converted to Zutara XD) but we still got along and had really good debates about characterization. I kind of like the "yin-yang" idea--but I'm not much of a Taang fan--More for Tokka! Taang sometimes seems like Aang just got paired w/Toph just because they're either the same age or Katara got paired off with Zuko. (which I don't mind unless it's "Zuko I hate yoou wait OMG I love you!! :-/ Or badly written.)

Anyways, I do NOT bash Kataang or any other pairings that I don't like. Therefore, I beg of you, please don't bash pairings I like. Thank you!

Alright, so when I first wandered onto this site, i was sooooo confused at all of the slang/shorthand that is used. Here are some definitions that may come in handy:

OOC=Out Of Character
IC=In Character (not often used.)

OC=Original Character

Mary Sue/Gary Stu=Click the link. Do it. NOW!!

AU=Alternate Universe.

OTP=One True Pairing. The pairing that you (the author) think is the best. Me, I vote for Draco/Ginny, but you might love Harry/Ginny. HG would be your OTP.
