So I rewrote parts of the last three chapters and the epilogue in an ending that brought the closure the original novel denied me. Many passages from the author's original work are used to stay close to canon. Some of the words are mine. None of the authors work is claimed as my own.

For me Allegiant was a huge let down. Here is how I think the ending should have went, these paragraphs are not 100% my own, this is a retooling of Veronica Roth's writing, it contains passages and paragraphs of hers and original passages and paragraphs of mine intermingled. I am not claiming any of her work as my own.

I thought Veronica Roth was a genius for how she ended Allegiant, but I couldn't stop crying. It bothered me a lot that Tris died, and i needed to have a version of the ending where she lived and was happy with Tobias. so i wrote an extra chapter for Tris which would have taken place right after Tobias returns with Uriah's family, and then i re-wrote the epilogue.
