CS Modern AU. Killian and Emma have known each other when they were younger, they unfortunately get seperated and spend 12 years apart. They meet again under an unusual circumstance.

Killian is forced to give his daughter up for adoption. Emma is the one who ends up adopting her.

Killian Jones had lost his wife one year ago and the pain still had not receded. He looked to find answers in grief counseling. Emma Cassidy was dealing with her own recent loss of her spouse. From the moment they meet, the sparks that are hard to ignore. Uncertain of what either is actually prepared for, their magnetic pull leads them on a rollercoaster of emotions to each other.

Emma and Henry say goodbye to their friends and family and escape Storybrooke as Regina's magic defeats Pan's curse and sends everyone back to the Enchanted Forest.
