Over 2000 years ago, Yamamoto Genryuusai Shigekuni set up the Shinigami Academy. Among the thousands of students that applied to this academy, three of them show excellent performance in the beginning. As a result, Genryuusai decides to take them in as his personal disciples. This is the story of Ukitake Juushiro, Kyoraku Shunsui, and Kurayami Haruna (OC) in their Academy years.
