Hi there!

Wings was started a long time ago. Long before the whole HP series was published. There was a phase in fanfiction where stories like this one; Superpowered!Harry stories were quite popular. There don’t seem to be as many left now, or perhaps I’m just not reading them as much anymore. Wings is written like one of those stories, with most of the tropes you’d expect from them. It means that if you remember the older fanfiction traditions, Wings should hopefully remind you of that phase.

Wings was started while I was still at school. There are quite a lot of cringe-worthy moments in it now, but I have to admit that I like them. I’m still updating (however slowly) because I love writing this fic, it’s a kind of guilty pleasure to me and one that I completely love. Yes, it can be silly and sometimes the plot happens primarily because I think it’s fun... but Wings has been a brilliant experience for me and I wanted to explain that I’m still here and still writing. The plot is planned out loosely so I do know where we’re heading, but there’s still time for some ‘why not?’ chapters along the way.
