![]() Author has written 1 story for Mass Effect. I've always wondered what it might take for me to get into actually writing fan fiction, but I think I'm glad that I've finally started to. I'm an avid fan of the Mass Effect series, and I don't know if you can expect any more material out of me. I try to keep my writing style pure and draw my inspiration from other writers and especially music. I think it's a shame that the majority of fan fiction I see have extremely poor sentence structure and little variation in their descriptive terms, just to name a few complaints. I'm hoping I can give a reading experience that may be as close to as a published novel as possible. I don't mean to brag, but I put a lot of time into making everything (close to)perfect, although I will sometimes slip up in my grammar. But that's what revisions are for. I would encourage you to read "Sentimental End", a short take on the Mass Effect 3 ending. It tried my best to stay true the original material, but also added a large amount of expository dialog between the Catalyst and Shepard, and attempted to leave the reader feeling like they've received real closure, without sacrificing the integrity of the original writers behind Mass Effect. It's very short, at around a short 4,000 words and one chapter, and I'm debating adding another chapter to expand upon the "closure" side of the ending. But I've received one pitiful review (a very positive review none the less (and to whoever wrote that review, you mean the world to me)) and I don't think I want to waste time making something no one will ever see. So please, if you have but a few minutes, go take a look and leave a review for me to read. I would mean the world to me. |
