Hello! You're probably here because you read one of my stories, and for that I thank you. As for me? Well, I'm hardly what I would imagine a fanfiction writer to be. I listen to Hip-Hop music, play excessive amounts of Xbox, and receive the majority of my inspiration under the influence of Rémy Martin VSOP. I'm slightly OCD with the unbelievably embarrassing need to alphabetize the one dollar bills I have by their treasury code before I can put them in my wallet. I'm the kind of guy who will sit down on the couch after work with the intention of getting up a few minutes later to type a term paper, but end up watching the same edition of SportsCenter four times in a row instead. Trust me, I wish I was lying. I'm a Psychology major and English minor who has been making up stories and writing for as long as I can remember. Yet, despite my familiarity with storytelling, I'm still vastly insecure about the quality of my writing style, which is one of the reasons I greatly appreciate the reviews I receive.

So, how did someone like me get into fanfiction writing? To put it simply, I owe it my life. I discovered this oasis quite by accident one day in my dorm room after class, and I can honestly say that Fanfiction.net, along with Popeye's Chicken, Mountain Dew: Code Red, and Everclear (the kind you drink, not the rock band) helped me survive my first year of college. Ever since then I've been an avid reader, but only recently have I collected enough courage to open my own account in an attempt to pay it back for all that I owe it. That's still a work in progress.

So, yeah...that's pretty much a crash course on me. If you want, you can go ahead and hit me up to chat about something you liked/disliked/didn't understand about something I wrote. I'm not afraid of conversations with random people.

Update: 11/21/07

Wow, it's been what...two and some years since I first started this thing? I can't believe I've been slacking this much. I've got a legit excuse...it's my last term of college, so I'm devoting all my energy to avoid choking on the home stretch, so to speak. Once I get my degree and start up a career doing something I plan to use my free time to write, which is something I love. Until then, I guess you could consider me on hiatus. I'll still be around, but in read-only mode for a while. To those of you who have read what I've written thus far, regardless of whether you've written a review or not, thank you.
