I love to read. My nose has been stuck in a book for as far back as I can remember. When I have nothing and everything to do, you can find me reading.

I'm kinda nuts. Definitely a little schizo. The stuff that rattles around in my brain is usually pretty scary. This becomes more problematic when I have word-vomit ... which is a lot.

I like fire. I talk about blowtorches and flame throwers a lot. When people piss me off, I start talking about setting shit on fire.

If you don't like the use of expletives, you should probably get the hell outta here. It's not that I can't express myself without cussing, I just don't care to. This especially includes excessive use of the word "fuck".

Drama is no-go. If your life's goal is to stir shit up and bask in the black glow of your attention-seeking half-a-heart, then slowly back away. I have enough naturally occurring shenanigans in my life that I don't need your unnecessary b.s. on top of it. Fake people bring out the worst in me. This means I can be your best friend or your worst enemy--take it or leave it.

I'm a wife and full-time mom. My amazing daughter is special needs with a laundry list of medical problems. This means updates are sporadic and sometimes non-existent. It also means I constantly have a brain buzzing with a million and one things that is subject to epic cases of writer's block. If you're anal about posting schedules, I'm not even remotely close to being the girl for you.

What I write always comes from deep within me. Just because this is fanfic, doesn't mean it's silly child's play. I write real feelings with the hope of getting a visceral reaction out of my readers. I'm still learning and always growing, so be patient with me. Constructive criticism is gladly accepted. Blatant, hurtful negativity will earn you a one-way trip to my fecal roster entitled "People for Whom I Give Zero Fucks". ... It's kind of a long list.

As stated above, you can find me on Facebook and Twitter--the latter much more so than the former. I've also recently joined Tumblr. You're welcome to seek me out there; however, you should know that I've taken quite an interest [read: become obsessed] with Harry Potter fic, & Tumblr is where I feel free to share my love for certain Slytherin men ... You have been warned.

Due to several private messages I've received (some pleasant, some not-so-pleasant), I've decided to officially put Slipping Through, Criminal, and Too Close on hiatus. It's not something I like; it feels like a copout. I'm not one to just drop things; however, when I feel like I can't do something justice or give it its due, I will back away and leave well enough alone until such time that things change. Please know, though, that ideas are always flitting about in my head, and it's nothing for me to write a hundred words (or more) here and there. To those who have sent the few less-than-nice messages I received: The third paragraph up from this one is a very vague and brief synopsis on my life and how I feel about update schedules. Not everyone can just belt out updates like some writers. Some don't have the skill. Some don't have the time. As I stated above, if you're a stickler for update schedules, I'm not the girl for you. Not even close. If you feel things like family, jobs, etc. aren't good enough reasons to not be beholden to a hobby, that is your problem, my friend, not mine. At the end of the day, I write for me and merely choose to share with others. If that makes me a bad person, ungrateful, a snot, a bitch, or a multitude of any other nasty names, then so be it. It won't be anything I haven't already been called in my life, I'm sure.
