Takes place a couple months after Balto 3. Aleu decides to leave the wolf pack and go home. Meanwhile, Kodi and Dusty develop feelings for each other. Rated T just to be safe.

After Balto and the team return with the medicine, Balto and Jenna start to get closer to each other. While he adjusts to no longer being an outcast, he reflects on his harsh youth and how it shaped him into what he is today.

After a restless and troubled sleep, Kodi goes for a midnight stroll only to find Dusty lying in an alley, badly beaten. As he takes her in and helps to care for her, the two slowly begin to fall in love...but her tormentor has other plans in mind.

A few months after the infamous Anittoxin incident, Nome's first train arrives, bringing with it a large wolfdog by the name of Kavik. He and Balto soon become friends but then trouble comes calling for Kavik...and it involves their most dangerous foe yet
