My name is Steve, my last name isn't Shay, and thats all you're going to get on that.

I'm male, in my 20's, and in college to study music.

I decided to take up writing fanfiction because I've had a couple of story ideas bouncing around in my head for the last four months.

I'm an acknowledged hypocrite, I think femslash and slash sucks.

Preferences:

Pairings- Nowadays I'll read just about any hetero pairing except Harry/Ginny and that because after I moved onto the non cannon pairing I realized two things.

1) JK must have been drunk to think they were compatible

2) I Hate Ron Weasly.

Story Themes-

Manipulative Dumbledore - After reading a manipulative Dumbles story for the first time I realized that it almost impossible to look at the cannon story again without seeing plot holes that this theme explains nicely.

Non-Childish Harry - Far too often authors decide to give Harry staggering power and abilities, and then they decide he has to use them like an idiot and mope about through the story. I've got news for you people, you don't have to make your protagonist brain dead to create conflicts to overcome.

I'll probably add to this later but I figured I needed something on my profile for the 50 some people that stopped by after my first chapter and saw nothing.
