A looooong time ago, I wrote a single piece of fanfiction (Donation, X-Files, Mulder/Scully). After watching Glee's Never Been Kissed episode, I immediately starting shipping Kurofsky and thinking about how you could make such an unlikely pairing work on the show. In my musings, I realized that that's what fanfiction is for, so I dived right back in. I'm a little worried about what RM might have in store for both of "my boys", so in my fics Kurt and Dave will usually get a happy ending, even if the road there is angsty.

In real life, I'm a 40-plus year old mom of a teenager, happily married, and lucky enough to work part time as a dance teacher (my day job is much more boring). I like Sherlock, The Walking Dead, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, any kind of artistically based reality competition show (Top Chef, Project Runway, So You Think You Can Dance, etc.), classic and contemporary musicals, Dr. Horrible (and anything else by Joss Whedon), and music ranging from Broadway soundtracks to System of a Down. And nothing makes me happier than reviews in my inbox. :-)

Due to my extreme disappointment with the show, I am no longer writing Glee or any other fanfiction and instead am concentrating my efforts on original fiction. My completed novel, Under The Knife, will be published by Less Than Three Press under the pseudonym Laurin Kelly. I am currently posting a new story, Gravity, on LiveJournal under the same name.
