Anyway, it was so sweet of you all to come visit my profile! If you stumbled here by some freak accident or you wanted to figure out a little bit about me (I’m thinking it’s probably the former), you’ve come to the right place!

My name is Jade Carmen Barnette, but I go by Carmen just because it’s what I was always called when I was younger. Plus, there are several girls in my school that are named Jade, but nobody besides me is named Carmen! I like being unique. =) Most of my friends (and several members of my family) refer to me as Caramello because you can usually find me eating caramellos--if I’m not eating one, a bar is in my possession, without a doubt. Caramellos are my candy of choice. =)

I just turned 16 years old on July 26th, and I must say that being sweet 16 feels absolutely no different from being 15. 16 actually wasn’t a great landmark for me--I got my learner’s when I was 15 and 6 months and I can’t get my license until I’m 16 and 3 months, so it honestly wasn’t such a big deal! I’m a junior who is very involved--I am a member of the student council (secretary of the junior class), a member of yearbook, in the FBLA, a cheerleader, in the FCA, in Mu Alpha Theta (a math club), in the NHS, and on Prom Committee. It gets hectic sometimes, but I’ve learned to deal. ;)

Currently, I have no works up, though I am in the process of fleshing out a couple of plots. My first fic will most likely be a D/Hr that is as of now untitled; it will take place during their seventh year at Hogwarts.
