After years of aligning myself with Ravenclaw, I have come to acknowledge my true allegiance with the Hufflepuff House. This has been the result of a long journey of self-discovery and mocking friends, and I have recognised that I value loyalty, faithfulness and overall friendship more than I do cleverness and wit. I'm not any less intelligent than I was when I asserted my Ravenclaw identity, and those of your struggling with the same problem should realise that the Hogwarts houses are not necessarily about what traits you actually have, but those that you value and are willing to develop in yourself. Ultimately, what House you choose is not a reflection of your skills or merit. There are genius Gryffindors, there are selfless Slytherins, there are brave Ravenclaws and there are malignant Hufflepuffs. Look no further than Hermione Granger, Regulus Black, Luna Lovegood and Zachariah Smith. Your house is your assertion of where you find your worth, what you value, the traits you admire and those you seek to emulate. I am a Hufflepuff, not because I am not smart, or brave, or ambitious, but because loyalty is what I aspire to, and what I respect in others.
