![]() Author has written 6 stories for Oddworld, Metroid, Doctor Who, and RuneScape. Welcome! I am Talps! Oh, wait, you knew that already... Ok... Uh, right, for those few people who actually do read my stories (a depressingly low number, probably because I'm so terrible at making summaries and titles), below you will find the list of stories, written, in progress, dead and currently un-uploaded that are plaguing my computer and will hopefully be plaguing fanfiction.net in the near future. Mermoid, Odd Job to be found in the Metroid section. I had the idea running about in my head for a long time, originally just a joke, but it formed so much that I sort of had to write it. I think the writing's some of my best, as is the comedy. I tried to give it serious elemtents as well, even though it's a parody. Basically it rips off Metroid Zero Mission, including locations, events and items. Throw in some bad puns (ooh, Moosiles and Moth Ball!), a childish failed bounty hunter, name of Salami Amok(at least if he fails the world won't suffer for being rid of him) and a self obsessed space ship and you're about there. If you like a laugh, read it, even if you're not a 'Metroid' fan! The Quest for the Orb is an Oddworld fic which I started writing several years ago to post on Oddworld Forums (much more of it, as well as three other Oddworld stories by me can be found there). I've got considerably more of it written than I've posted but I don't know if I'll ever get around to posting it since it's all fairly old stuff. This story has been left unfinished for a number of years, mainly cus of its oldness, but if I ever have the time I might get around to finishing it, or at least writing a summary of the section I never completed. The Legend of Zelda: Shadow of Light is, not surprisingly, Legend of Zelda fic, which I'm rather fond of, though I need to organise my ideas for it before I can feel confident with posting it. Who is is a Doctor Who oneshot that I'm very fond of, and since it's recieved a fair number of positive reviews I'm confident in my pride! Read it, enjoy it. Maybe I should write some more oneshots... Regrets is another Doctor Who oneshot, which I think is better than the previous one, but since it's gotten only 1 review - and even that was from someone I have to beg - it seems I'm alone in that belief. Is it the title? The summary? The fact that it deals with probably more of the classic series than with the new? The Cyber Wars is my third Doctor Who oneshot, mostly a history of the classic series' cybermen, using continuity from the series as well as making some things up to fill in the plotholes and making it prettier. Came about mostly from me working the whole thing out on paper (or you know, on the computer) rather than in my head. I want to give fans of the new series a better view of the sometimes genuinely terrifying cybermen than the one that Russell T Davies presented. I've started a Creative Writing course at university, so hopefully my writing should improve further over the next few years. Not sure how much time I'll have for fanfiction but hopefully Ill keep working on Odd Job at least. And then in a few years you can all start buying my international bestsellers! |
