Story Exempts Note: These are just some story ideas that I'm gonna try to get around to after Friend's Darkest Hour. I typed some bits and pieces that I'll add to the story that I'll type later on. Regular stories: Jak & Daxter Idea: My Time in Hell Chapter: First Day Part: First Whipping Session They carried me out of The Hole after being in there for hours that I couldn't keep track of because I was too busy choking on my fear of confined spaces. I was dragged into another room that was dark, unventilated, and smelled fouler than the sewers. The guards stripped me of all of my prison garments down to my unmentionables. They chained my hands to the ceiling for obvious reasons and chained my feet to the ground so I won't kick. I was scared out of whatever wits I have left and very confused as to what is happening here. Also, on top of that, I was wondering what they were going to do to me because I was stripped naked and my hands and feet are chained which leaves me open to any sort of abuse they may inflict upon me. My answer came when something stepped out of the shadows that both intimidated and confused me. I saw a Caucasian man who was extremely buff wearing a black mask that looked like a bag with eye holes in it, black leather pants, and black boots that are quite large with metal soles. He was carrying a long whip that you'd typically see a lion tamer holding. There was something off about the whip because it was glinting as if it was soaked in something that was purple. I could tell by the movement of the mask that he was grinning at me evilly. This made me feel very uneasy and it's not because he is a guy. I looked at his whip that he was cracking on the floor which made a noise akin to lightning and looked at my entirely bare body many times with increasing speed. Just as I started putting two and two together, the man slowly walked behind me with his lashing whip laughing quietly as he was doing so. He cracked the whip on the ground one final time before he swung it above his head and cracked it as hard as he could which made contact with my left shoulder-blade. The pain I felt from that whip was so bad that I couldn't think straight. It felt like I was stabbed with a serrated knife that was soaked in the most corrosive substance imaginable. I let out a scream that was so loud that the punisher had to cover his ears. He whipped me again which cut off my screaming, but the pain got substantially worse with every lash that was carved into my fragile skin. He whipped me with the Eco soaked whip at least another four times before my wounds started to bleed badly. My blood felt hot against whatever skin that was not damaged. But, he didn't let up on the whipping. It's as if he relished the sight of my blood seeping out of my wounds. He kept whipping me to the point that I started to cry and beg him to stop, but he just laughed at my pitiful attempt to make the pain go away. He whipped at my poor arms which started gushing my blood at the first two whips and it started raining blood onto my hair which covered the subtle yellow-green at my roots and made my red hair even more red than usual. My arms were covered in lashed wounds that are an angry red and looked purple around it. To say it hurt worse than hell itself would be the understatement of the century. He whipped at my long legs which caused them to bleed at the first whip and my blood was seeping from my deep wounds to the floor which obviously filled the man with glee because he whipped me harder and faster to the point that I just about passed out from the pain of it all. He whipped my chest, my breasts, my rear, my head, my feet, everywhere to the point that I was covered from head to toe in my own blood. I passed out from the pain of it and losing all of that blood. Everything went black with me thinking to myself, "I am Nobody..." Crossovers: Jak & Daxter/Bioshock Idea: BioJak (Working Title; PMing any better titles would be appreciated) Chapter: Worse than Haven City Part: Jak's "Final" Recording Jak was chased all over the Atlantic Express by at least thirty Thuggish Splicers that are screaming at him to stop. He didn't stop and kept running for dear life. Normally, he never ran from a fight like this. But, he's low on Eco, out of ammo, out of options, and out of luck it seems. So, he's running from them rather than being stupid and facing them with his bare hands. Daxter was hanging onto his shoulder with his eyes closed yelling into Jak ears to try to get him to run faster. But, it just made his ears ring in protest. Jak was thinking to himself that if that ottsel shouts at him any louder that he's gonna have ottsel stew for supper tonight. Down the hall of Ryan Amusements at the start of the ride, he saw a door that might offer him some protection. He ran into the door, closed it at the push of the button, and jammed the door with a wrench. Just as he jammed the door, the Splicers crashed into the door which forced Jak on his back and caused the door to give a little which was much to Daxter's terror and Jak's annoyance. "Can nothing stop those things?!" Daxter shouted with his tail twitching like crazy. "Apparently not," Jak muttered as the Splicers crashed into the door again which made it give even more. The impact caused the wall around the door to crack and some debris to land on Daxter and knock him out. Jak thought that this may be his last moments alive and decided to let whoever might try to look for him know. He got out another Audio Diary from his pack and press the record button. "This is Jak again, Diary number twenty-two." he spoke into it, "I've been stuck in this hell-hole for nearly a month now and I think I've finally found a city that's even worse than Haven! The Splicer's chased me down the Atlantic Express and into Ryan Amusements. I'm holed in what looks like a maintenance room with Daxter who got knocked out by debris. At least he won't get to see me get ripped apart by those... things. This may be my last recording and if Torn, Ben, Jinx, or anyone I know finds this I'll let you know that I regret nothing from coming down here because I'm fighting for my friend's life. A fight that I knew in my heart that I was gonna lose, but at least I gave it my best shot..." His seemingly last words were interrupted by the Splicers crashing into the door again which made it dent at the edges and the wrench to fall off the emergency handles. He saw the Splicers' seriously deformed hands and faces screaming for ADAM. The ceiling caved in further from the force of their impact which made a small hole in the floor above him which caused what looked like a syringe filled with ADAM to fall in the room. Jak noticed it and remembered the shocked look on Tenenbaum's face when she introduced that stuff into his blood. It could've been a good thing or a bad thing because she wouldn't tell Jak what happened to the blood when the ADAM got into it. Jak pushed those thoughts back and continued recording his last message though. "The crash was those damn Splicers ramming the door." he continued, "The ceiling caved in on me from that. I'm alright, but I saw a syringe fall from the hole in the ceiling. It might've been on the floor in the room above me. It's filled with ADAM which may either save my life or end it." He paused for a moment because he heard a loud creak of the door giving. He looked at the door to see that the Splicers were starting to break down the door to get Jak and possibly tear him apart to find out if he has any ADAM on him. He shook himself to snap out of seeing his life flash before his eyes and continued trying to record his message. "Well, given the situation I'm in, it sounds like a win-win deal here. If this is my last recording, at least that saved me from possibly being banished by the City Council for simply being able to turn into a monster!" He turned off the recording, placed it safely inside a desk, and closed the drawer. He looked at the unconscious Daxter and decided to move him to a safer place which happened to be a locker. Just as the Splicers were breaking down the last of the door Jak hesitantly grabbed the syringe, held it shakingly over his left wrist, looked away with his eyes squeezed shut, and quickly injected it into his wrist which caused him to cry in agony from the ADAM burning through his veins. His heart started racing as he started getting a sudden fever that made him sweat profusely and it was nearly as bad as the pain. He was seeing double and his vision started hazing. He had a horrid headache that felt as though someone was using a chainsaw against his skull. Every bone in his body started killing him, even the four in his ears. He was stumbling blindly as his legs started to give, knocking over nearly everything in his path, and eventually, he collapsed altogether. He was twitching and screaming silently in pain on the floor. Just as he felt that he couldn't take any more of this his hazy vision suddenly went black, all of the loud noises stopped, and all he could feel was the familiar pains of him changing from man to monster... Regular stories: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Idea: Savior & Turnabout Chapter: Prologue Part: The Murder Phantom UNKNOWN – Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies A little girl was walking down the hall looking anxious. A strange-looking dagger fell out of her pocket and a shadowed hand picked it up. A young, shadowed woman walked up to another shadowed figure that was significantly taller than her. They acknowledged and started to talk to each other. “I think it's time we had a talk.” the taller shadow stated. “Why now? Can't it wait?” the woman demanded, “I was on my way to the ceremony!” “I think I know why you're so confident of winning this.” he answered. “What?!” she shrieked, “How did you-?!” “Let's just say an old friend of yours told me... Indirectly.” he smiled. “What?! Him?!” she snarled, “You know what will happen once he finds out you ratted him out!" “You and I both know that he's nothing more than a parasite that lives off others money!” he rebutted. “Well, yeah.” she hesitated, “But, what if he finds out and tries to... Erase unwanted evidence.” “Let him tr-” he tried to say before the sound of metal piercing flesh was heard, “AAARRGGHHH!!!” “MICHEL!” the female shadow screamed before breaking down into tears. “Ugh, shut up!” the killer yelled, “I can't stand wailing children!” “H-H-He... Didn't... Deserve this!” she cried between sobs. “Yes he did!” he yelled, “That little boy should have kept his damn mouth shut! Now, get out before this steel gets a taste of your blood as well!” “Y-Yes, sir...” the woman sobbed before making a break for it. Suspense 2013 – Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies “Now, I better do something about this garbage here... Hmm,” he muttered to himself. He fiddled with the knife he found before an idea hit him. “I'll make it look like that little brat who owns this knife did it!” he grinned before he sighed and admired the dagger in his hand, “It's such a shame, really. To send a poor adolescent to death. Especially when she owns such a fine work of art. But, I guess the fates demand it.” Crossover: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney/Jak & Daxter Idea: First Friend Chapter: Strange Feelings Part: Ben's Concerns "Kate, we need to talk," Ben stated in a flat tone after dragging me into his observatory. "About what?" I asked with my right eye cocked and head tilted "About your strange behavior lately," Ben explained while squeezing his hands together and shaking his right leg. "Strange behavior?" I questioned, "What did I do that you would consider strange?" "Well, you keep looking at that old badge of yours that you obviously got from another world." he pointed out I caught myself peering at it through my pocket and stopped. "You keep staring off into space at the most unexpected times." I shook myself into awareness after hearing him at least say that I stare off into space. "Aside from now, you hardly ever spoke to us and you won't take any missions from Torn even if your communicator rings off the hook." The chorus of 'It's Not Over' played for the millionth time in my head and when I looked at my communicator I saw that my message box was full of Torn giving me quite a reading of the riot act and how I was more conscientious than this about getting missions. "Also, you hardly do anything other than straighten up everything around you almost compulsively and your chamber is the cleanest that I've seen in years." I do remember Zappy commenting that he could see his twin in the floor, walls, and counters. "And furthermore you keep mumbling about a phoenix and the color blue for some reason in your sleep." I do remember having dreams about him nearly every night since that nightmare a few days back. "I've told Jak this, I've told Daxter this, I've told Tess this, I've told Brutter this, I've told Torn this, and now I'm telling you..." I started with my tone getting louder and harsher, "There's nothing wrong with me. I'm just thinking about a friend of mine that's all! I'll be my old self in a few days! I just need to work on some things that I'm going through..." "I want to help you with them!" Ben yelled to get a word in edgewise, "Jak wants to help, Dax wants to help, Tess wants to help, Brutter wants to help, Torn wants to help, and even I want to help you with your problems!" I sighed and tried to speak, but Ben won't hear any of it. "No! You're the best soldier, warrior, and spy since Jak Mar!" he shouted with his eyes glowing purple, "All of us want to make sure that there is nothing that ails you and to help with whatever is bothering you even if it's not of this world! It wouldn't be a first time we had to help with otherworldly situations." Once Ben's anger was taken as far as he can permit, he tried to calm himself before the Dark Eco in his veins starts getting agitated. I took the time it takes him to calm down to reflect on my behavior and it seems that everyone and their mother wants to know what's troubling me so much. It was for a good reason because I was acting almost in a depressed state. So, I can't blame my friends and family for wanting to aid me even if it means leaving their own world to help me out. But, after what happened in Rapture, I can't risk that again. "Ben, I know you all want to help me and I'm grateful for that." I smiled before I lowered my head and frowned, "But, after what happened in Rapture, I have to deal with otherworldly matters on my own." Ben was about to shout at me for refusing everyone's help, but after recalling what happened in Rapture he can understand why I don't want to go through that again. I very nearly lost Jak countless times and everyone else suffered from his disappearance. Feeling that this argument is over, I got up and left Ben's lab to head back to my job to think things over. 25 Signs That You Play Jak & Daxter WAY Too Much

Has to be above 10, but below 15. I got this test from TA Maxwell.) Intelligence counts in this.) Poltergeist powers- 5 (Only happens in October and has BJ's limits and personal demons in this form.) Mudoken powers- 6 (Limited to one person can only cast one bolt at a time.) Holmes' powers- 7 (Most commonly used, but seems to have control problems that she's still trying to rectify.) Speed- 5 (Used often, but can't stop when reaches 200 MPH which can lead her into crashing into signs, trees, buildings, and more which can be a bad thing.) Sporeling- 8 (Used extremely often, God-like, can easily make mistakes with it, can't change into other people until she knows code, has control issues in sleep.) Fire Channeling- 6 (Used in fights, has aiming issues, control problems, can cause serious fires, has harmed civilians, can become weak if used too often.) Underdog-like powers- 6 (Used very often in the form of strength. Degraded version, doesn't use them all, felt bad for taking them, not limited to pills.) Key: 1-5 negative 6-10 positive Benjamin David Arthur Darkens (The name is based off a character of my dad's which I have permission to use.) Character traits (The test) Skill(s): Intelligence- 7 (Very smart, resourceful, inventive, and able to think outside the box.) Dark Powers- 5 (Very rarely used if ever. Often used accidentally. Not even Dark Jak scared him!) Wrestling- 5 (He's decent at it with people larger than him. But, with animals, he ends up retaining serious wounds due to lack of using powers.) Animal skills- 7 (He's very good with animals when he likes them and has several animals at home who welcome him with friendly tackling and sloppy kisses.) Tolerance- 5 (Ben is a no-nonsense type of guy and has little to no tolerance for anything that breaks his sense of organized order and control unless it's a friend.) Has made costly repairs due to mistakes in the past.) Emotional Control- 5 (It's decent. Still learning. Still young. Has slipped up before due to temper or emotional crisis. Can bounce back fast, but sometimes not quick enough.) Observation & inference- 5 (Overshadowed by Kate. Still learning from her. He's no Sherlock Holmes. Has made lucky, educated guesses before.) Social- 5 (He's very well spoken. But, he's a high functioning sociopath and rarely cares about what others think. Kate's trying to fix that.) Temper- 5 (He has the Darkens' notorious short temper, but he actually tries to keep it under control despite things constantly annoying him.) Instinct- 5 (This is common in Ben's family. But, he almost never uses it and doesn't trust it which often lands him in trouble.) Romance: 3 (He knows little to nothing about romance due to the fact that he's more focused on his works.) Looks: 6 (He has his father's bodily features coupled with Jak's facial features which is a good combination) Luck: 6 (He's the youngest sage in history. he owns an observatory. He relies more on skill and hard work than luck though.) Results:14 My Lingo On My Author's Notes Key: "Phrase" Meaning "Penta-Chapter" A story with five chapters. YOU KNOW YOU'RE AN AUTHOR IF... You talk to yourself a lot. You talk to yourself about talking to yourself. When you talk to yourself you often talk to yourself like you're talking to someone else. After uttering a profound piece of wisdom like that above, you stare at the cookie in your hand with awe and say, "Wow, this stuff is great for sugar highs...'. You live off of sugar and caffeine. You'll check your e-mail every day of the week and then disappear off the face of the earth. Your e-mails tend to be pages long and incredibly random. When replying to an e-mail, you'll never actually address the point of it. You tend to collect pens or pencils off the ground like picking pennies off the ground. No matter where you are in a room you never have to get up to find a pen/pencil and paper. The letters on your keyboard are wearing off. You have to buy new pencils. Your friends and family think that you have carpal tunnel syndrome. People think you have A.D.D. You think it'd be cool to have A.D.D. You constantly start talking in third person, present or past tense. You start thinking about making lists like this and start giggling for no "apparent" reason. Your friends stopped looking at you funny when you laugh for no apparent reason a loooooong time ago. And FINALLY, the one way to tell if you're a good writer: You failed English 101. (copy that into your profile if you fit one or more of the descriptions and bold them.) Fics That Are In The Making (Underline means that it's on FanFiction, but it's not complete; when the fic is dead or done it's on the list for a week before removal.)
