I'm Scarlett Nemesis but I go by Scarlett or just plain Scar or even your Lady and Mistress if you're feeling submissive. :)

I've been a lurker for quite some time and an author for even less. I started out with band fiction but then found it to be a little creepy so I'm not really into real-people fics anymore. I've written some band fics (Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, Andy "The Butcher" Mrotek of The Academy Is... and two unfinished fics. One of Brendon Urie from Panic! at the Disco that I don't think will ever be finished and one about Justin Pierre of Motion City Soundtrack that might just get finished). I'm not going to post them but if you're interested in reading them, message me.

I'm currently writing fics about Oliver Wood, Steve Rogers and Griffin. I've also got a ton of plotlines simmering on the back-burner about Loki. I will NEVER post a story until it is finished. I write for my own enjoyment but figured that if even one person could derive pleasure from one of my fics I should be very well pleased.

Characters I love in no particular order: Loki (Thor or Avengers), Captain America/Steve Rogers (Captain America or Avengers), Jim Moriarty (BBC's Sherlock), Oliver Wood (Harry Potter), Draco Malfoy (but only if it's done right, Harry Potter), Griffin (Jumper), Eomer/Lothiriel (Lord of the Rings), Legolas (again, if done right, Lord of the Rings) and Darcy/Elizabeth (mmmm, Colin Firth... Pride & Prejudice).

I mostly prefer OCs in fics which sometimes makes it hard to find good ones. I can even stand certain Mary Sues if the need is dire. I also only read het pairings (I've come across some slash that has made me cringe and traumatized me so those are a no-go).

I am a grammar Nazi in the sense that if I come across badly written grammar that I just can't possibly ignore, I don't (and frankly can't) read those fics either but I will never foist an author's errors in their face. I've never flamed anyone and I don't intend to (I just won't review).

I also have a tendency to quote anything and everything so if you think you recognize a phrase or sentence, it's probably because I took it from some other source either by accident or on purpose.

On a non-fanfic related basis, here's a bit about me: HUGE fan of the SF Giants (mainly The Freak) and SF itself, my fav band of all time is Queen and my other favs are My Chemical Romance, Motion City Soundtrack and The Matches, my fav movies are Vertigo, Gladiator, Inception, Lords of the Rings/The Hobbit and my fav authors are Edgar Allan Poe and Chuck Palahniuk.
