Set before TWD when Daryl is 16 and Merle is 24. Slightly AU and Malami inspired me with some ideas. Merle comes home unexpectedly to witness something he can't believe is really happening. I was thinking of the Walking Dead and if it wasn't Maggie who was taken with Glenn but what if it was Daryl? What if Merle beat up Daryl instead of Glenn? What if there was a more serious side of Daryl's relationship with his brother? Like say abuse? Emotional, physical, sexual sibling abuse! Don't like don't read! This will have slash in it but later on in the story!

Just a collection of One Shots I'm going to type up focusing on Merle and Daryl before the apocalypse. They'll be kids or adults.

Rick couldn't let Merle stay with the group so he tells him to leave and Daryl goes with him. Now Rick is left in the prison alone but Daryl has his hands full when he and Merle get into a situation they're not sure they can get out of.
