This story is set directly after the ending of Sarah J. Mass' "A Court of Mist and Fury". Feyre has, again, sacrificed everything, and now has to deal with returning to the spring court and Tamlin. Meanwhile, Rhys, Mor and the rest of the court of dreams, struggle with Feyre's decision and the coming war.

Angst. Pining. Protective Fae males. Set towards the end of Queen Of Shadows. Aelin and Rowan are cuddling in a chair one evening, and Chaol feels the full weight of having lost Celaena. Rowan reads his attention as affection for Aelin and becomes more possessive. Aedion seems amused by the whole thing. Aelin is too busy kissing Rowan. Rowaelin. Chaolaena.

*Contains spoilers if you haven't read ACOMAF* Feyre has had enough of Tamlin and when the Night Court no longer needs Feyre to be a spy for them, she decides it is time for Tamlin to atone for what he did to her and her family.

Post ACOTAR/minor spoilers for beginning of ACOMAF. Rhys interrupts Feyre's wedding at the Spring Court in his typical dramatic style and snatches Feyre away to the Night Court for an unusual wedding night, filled with ballrooms, a growing attraction, and a dance beneath the stars. Post ACOTAR. Feyre has more nightmares while at the Night Court, and Rhys wants to help. She knows why he is here, but does she really know why Rhysand decided to collect her today of all days?

Aedion and Rowan meet. How will the Wolf of the North react when he learns that another man has sworn the blood oath to Aelin before him? Aelin realizes something.

After drinking a bit too much at a party, Aelin kisses Rowan, but Rowan doesn't feel the same. ...Right?
