My Age for Ash and Paul/ Brock and Reggie (as of the end of Sinnoh League):

This is something I did for fun since no one in Pokemon ages. I wanted set age differences and such for characters, si I just came up with this on my own.

Leagues Ash Has Attended:

Kanto - Indigo Plateau Conference - Battle Frontier
Orange Archipelago - Orange League
Johto - Silver Conference
Hoenn - Ever Grande Conference
Sinnoh - Lily of the Valley Conference
Unova - Vertress Conference

Leagues Paul Has Attended:
Kanto - Indigo Plateau Conference
Johto - Silver Conference
Hoenn - Ever Grande Conference
Sinnoh - Lily of the Valley Conference

In order for Paul not to have coincided with Ash and still competing in his home regions league, Paul probably started with Hoenn (While Ash was attending the Orange League) went to Kanto with Reggie to attend Indigo League while Reggie attended Battle Frontier. Left to attend Johto League on his own after Reggie chose to become a Breeder (Ash is attending Hoenn League). Came back to attend Sinnoh league and meets up with Ash. Went to attend Battle Frontier (Ash leaves to attend Unova league).

Ash would be 15 since there’s a league every year. (Orange Islands and Battle Frontier can be merged to be 1 year for both assuming they only took a few months long). (16 as of Unova League)

Paul would be 14 and a year and few months younger (15 as of Unova League) and would have started his journey when Ash started the Orange Islands (the months is assuming Orange League took only a few months) He would have been around 12 when he became traumatized due to Reggie’s loss against Brandon, and spent a year journeying on his own before returning to Sinnoh for the Sinnoh league.

Reggie would be 16 (17 as of Unova) assuming he started his journey at 10 and attended all 4 leagues and Battle Frontier prior to Diamond and Pearl and being a year or so as a breeder while Paul is away in Johto.

Brock is age 15 when he debuts as the Pewter City gym leader. He was given Onix at the age of 10 and his father left shortly after. His mother also left as well which can lead to Brock being gym leader at about age 13. He was the Pewter Gym Leader for maybe about 2 and a half years (depending on his and Ash’s birthdays) before meeting Ash and leaving the gym to his father. As Ash has aged 5 years,Brock would be 20 years old by the end of Sinnoh (21 by Unova League) Once can safely assume that there was a few years gap (2-3) between Brock and Forrest and another 3 year gap between Forrest and Salvador as all siblings younger than Forrest aren’t old enough to be Pokemon trainers, but there is about a 1 year gap for every sibling after that sans the twins (youngest).
