You can call me Emmy, it fits me well enough. I suppose you'd call it a penname of sorts, but then I always liked it better than my given name.

There are not words to describe me, none that I have, as of yet, found, at least. I am a truly unique person, but then, aren't we all? Writing is my passion, my life. Like breathing, I need it to live and fuction. The written word is the single most beautiful, most powerful, most inspiring, and most deadly gift the human race has ever been granted.

I love music, in all its various forms. I'm Pretty.Odd. in that area, as my music tastes are pretty eccentric. My favorite band is Kill Hannah (Mat Devine wrote Unwanted and stole my heart forever), followed quickly by Panik (a German nu-metal band that if you haven't heard of before, you need to go look up right now). Some other favorites are Hollywood Undead, Cobra Starship, Take Cover, Sing It Loud, Aiden, Tokio Hotel, Evan Taubenfeld, We the Kings, The Cab, Papa Roach, Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, and AFI. The list is endless.

I'm straightedge. I have been since I was fifteen-years-old and I don't see it changing anytime soon. I'm also pansexual and, in an odd sort of way, kind of a genderqueer. I'm proud of you if you know what that means. I have a fascination with life, with love, and with tattoos. I kind of want to cover myself in them.

My favorite color is Gabe Saporta.

My religion is the Church of Hot Addiction. We worship sex.

Ninjas = Awesome. Pirates fail in comparison, but are also awesome. Jedi are up there, too.

I love comedy. I love to laugh until my sides hurt, until I'm crying and unable to breathe because I can't stop. Favorite comedians: Jeff Dunham, Brian Haner, Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Christopher Titus.

My brain is made up of lots of different people I share space with. I call them my muses and they are endless. A few of them are more demanding than others, so they get names. Emmy is the loudest, the crudest, the eldest, and that is why I love her the most. Jack, Dylann, Alex, Jamie, and Syd all have stories. One day, I'll figure out how to write them.

For now, I write fanfic. Its fun, its challenging, and sometimes its a lifeline in darkness. One day I'll be able to write the stories that are etched into my heart and soul, but for now I'm just trying to expand my talents.

I watch the Disney channel out of emmence boredom, which is how I fell in love with Mitchel Musso and the Jonas Brothers. While I'd be the first to admit their music isn't the best, Mitchel's got pipes like his brother and the JoBros are actually pretty good (and if they'd get out from beneath Disney's thumb, I can only imagine the talent they have the potential to hold). Mostly, I just love the guys. They're total sweethearts and personality attracts me.

For the record, Miley Cyrus can go jump off a bridge. I hate everything about her and her split fucking personality.

I have a near-unhealthy obsession with Patrick Stump, Jan Werner, and Nick Jonas (its those fucking curls). Smith Puget is my hero. So, okay. I have a lot of heros. But Smith is fucking awesome.

Kevin Smith and Tim Burton are the best directors, of all time. Fuck you if you think otherwise.

My favorite movie is the Crow... I find it very beautiful and romantic, in a morbid sort of way, as well as inspiring. I love the everlasting theme of, "It can't rain all the time".
