I'm a 21 year old female student from the Netherlands majoring in translation and interpreting. Before this, I was a student in Japanese culture and language and thus, as an intermediate level speaker of the language, I hate it when random Japanese is used, especially when it has an English equivalent and if a glossary is needed to tell me what they mean.

Short version: if you use fangirl Japanese to subsitute random words in English sentences, I'm not reading. Nor do I read if I see really stupid spelling mistakes in your summary. If you don't have the time to get a beta reader or spellcheck to correct something like "there" (instead of "their"), then I'm skipping your story immediately.

I speak Dutch (native), English (fluent), German (intermediate) and Japanese (intermediate) and love learning languages.

So yes, I am a perfectionistic Grammar Nazi, which I will blame on being a translator in training, and I only give praise where it's due.

If you don't like my blunt and honest way of speaking, then bad for you. I'm also painfully shy, so if I review something it's either really good or really bad. I do apologize if I'm being unintentionally rude though, I sometimes do that as part of being autistic (which has nothing to do with being shy, that's just me being weird).

Personally, I'm more comfortable with lurking around, so don't expect to see any written stories from my side~ I'm a especially rabid fangirl in case of One Piece and Gintama, of which the last one is seriously underrated if you ask me.

I love Doctor Who, and especially the third, fourth and eleventh Doctors. I'm not a fan of Doctor/Rose in any shape or form, but I can stand it if it's well-written and not just sappy überromantic reunionfic #5845522345

Quite obviously, I love crack, episodic gag manga and big, epic adventures. In contrast, I will never read incest, OC- and AUfics need to be really, really well-written and executed to make me read them.
Self-inserts can burn in hell for eternity together with anything concerning pairing wars and fan stupidity.

I'm not bothered by yaoi at all, being a Gintama fangirl, but I personally prefer more conventional, canon pairings most of the time to be honest~
