39 yo fanfic addict. Love the world of Harry Potter as a start but willing to use it as just that a start or base for a larger world that is far more complex. Point in fact I have the outline of a story that kills off a third of the worlds men before Harry ends up at Hogwarts. Another that twists the world like a blob of clay on a throwers wheel.

Like Buffy the Vampire Slayer as some of the characters are great role models of strenght but still are human.

Do not like slash will not read/Beta. Don't care if you like it do these acts in the privacy of your own bedroom its not my cup of anything. Being honest though bi-girls or girl on girl action is hot especially if the hero can get into that. I like the PWP/Lemon scenes as much as most human beings but prefer it to have some meaning in the over all context of a story.

Love the works of writers who really take the time to grow their world and flesh out and fill in plot hole. JKR is half-way there but it seems to be for others to take the rest of the way. Much like Tolkien' works he filled in the canvas behind him before he wrote the first story. And his son and grandson have just added to the histories that where there in all those brown boxes. I use Tolkien for Elvish words.

Like mixing worlds as the blending of ideas adds a flavor that is unique and can lead to many things that are very different. I will take any idea from anime and fiction (sci or fantasy), real world acts and history/groups to paint the background the stories I will publiish.

My wife is 32 this year and we have been together since 1996. I still have no idea why she hasn't run away from the lot of us, our son is eight our daughter two, as we drive her to distraction with our antics.

3-19-2010-Published Wrath of Grandfathers Chapter One. Long story with a vague outline. Hope to put up a chapter weakly. I have quite a bit of backstory for this AU but must warn everyone that I have no idea where all of the insperation came from (other then the back bone of JKRs works) and if you recognize parts form other stories I don't own it.

4-29-2010 Min-rant about a few things

No one is an island. The Wizarding World tries to hide but is quickly falling behind in the methods of concealment starting in the 1920’s and getting worse in the 1950’s with the first high altitude spy planes and satellites. Statute Security (more on them in the story) was created to handle the problem but their own reports from the start are not optimistic in the long term.

Canon is and was far less then half the story and Dumbles is if not evil directly then evil in that he does nothing in the hope that ‘the better angles’ will prevail. I don’t believe this at all. I believe in ‘fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me’ and that there is a point when mercy must take a back seat to justice. I also believe the purists on both sides of the Light and Dark hide their perversions and flaws behind masks that slip more then they would like.

For the Ministry two decades of insurgency during Voldemort’s first rise has destroyed or driven off, or discouraged, most talented or driven individuals in the Wizarding Government of Great Britain. Add in Dumbledore’ ten years of inadvertent programming children under Snape at Hogwarts and there are several damaged generations of people in Great Britain who expect evil to prevail and they to just sit in the mud and suck it up. The ones who remain at the Ministry are Voldemort’s fellow travelers or at least neutral about the whole muggleborn issue or concentrated on their own jobs to the exclusion of anything else. The ones who remain and try and fight his acidic reach and Dumbles passive dementia spend a lot of time and effort just surviving rather then doing an effective job until the gloves came off at the end of the first war, even then it wasn’t enough. The Purists of both stripes won the post war reins of power and moved to protect their power base. Causing an even further fall in morale, resulting in shoddy work, overseas flight and work half or not done at all.

Pulled several stories for continuity errors and the fact that I am unhappy with some of the plotting and characterizations. The three stories are part of my larger AU and will affect eeach other in my future stories. If you were following them I'm sorry but I wasn't happy with some of it so it goes away until I am happy.
