IT HAS BEEN FOUR YEARS IT'S TIME I HAVE A GOOD PROFILE, K?

I'm Esme, I'm old (jk, I'm, like, 20-something,) and I'm a member of this lovely site just like several of you. :))

Once upon a time, I went by ThePlatinumLlama, TheHorselessHeadsman, and several other things that I'm not necessarily proud of. I answer to Esme and absolutely nothing else (if you know me.)

I joined FanFiction during my senior year of college so I could read Carlisle/Esme Twilight fanfics and post my own stuff. Now, this is back when I was a baby writer and hardly knew how to use a semicolon or, you know, format a story, or, you know, write more than 150 words per chapter, so my stories were real dumb. They usually revolved around my general distaste for Bella (not a fan of wet blankets.) and my absolute adoration of Russians. My writing style has certainly evolved since then (I hope.)

A big part of the whole 365 writing style change was an RP forum ran by Korra, who is a very dear friend of mine on this site. It made writing fun, and so I kept doing it. I've actually been RP'ing for about four years and I'm still doing it. I've been a member of over thirty RPs and have had more characters than I can count.

IAmMoreThanMemory and Shinigami Maddie Yagami are two of my closest Fanfic friends. I met Korra (Shinigami Maddie Yagami) when I started RP'ing and I met Kasey (IAmMoreThanMemory) fairly recently (like a year ago??) They both taught me a lot about RP and writing in general, but so have many other FF members. Long story short, I LOVE YOU ALL.

I hiatus on and off because:

A. I am a mom of three wonderful children. I have a three month old, a three year old, and a sixteen year old (technically my niece, but because of circumstances, she's mine.) I love my babies with all of my heart, but having three kids means you don't have a ton of free time. Usually, I can find time, but it's not always easy.

B. On top of being a mom, I have a full time job at a Sephora. I am a Makeup Advisor, but my coworkers refer to me as the "Inventory Specialist," which can mean a little bit of over time and a lot of late nights. I get called in often to supervise new associates, so my schedule can be unpredictable.

Despite these reasons, I really do try to be on as often as possible. Please don't take hiatus to mean "don't invite me to your roleplay" or "don't follow this story since it won't update soon" because it probably won't. It just means I'm a little slower than some.

FUN FACTS

1. Esme is my actual name. Some people think that since I'm a fan of Esme from Twilight, I call myself Esme, but that is NOT the case. This Esme came first.
2. My husband also has a Twilight name. This is purely by coincidence. And no, it's not Carlisle.
3. I have SO MANY SIBLINGS. There are eight of us, not including me.
4. I have a degree in Theatre from UC Santa Barbara
5. I went to high school at Bloomington High School South
6. I have lived all over the US
7. I've studied abroad in England and in Ireland
8. I minored in Women's and LGBTQ Studies
9. I am very very very organized
