![]() Boo! Didn't expect to see from me, huh? It's been, what, forever since I updated this thing? Pssh. Not as if anyone reads this, anyway. I'm Tilders. I am a homo sapien of the female variety, and of an age that I don't really feel like disclosing to any dear souls who should stray upon this lonely little profile. I'm technically from the UK but I prefer to say Ireland, and I speak English with barely-there French and enough Irish to make it through the Gaeltacht for three weeks. (BTW - It's called Irish, not Gaelic. Seriously.) I do upon occasion write fanfics, but they mostly stay hidden inside a maze of files on my computer where it's safe and no innocent passers-by can be hurt by their awfulness. Until a short while ago I had a story posted (and the crowd is stunned!) called The Sweet Scent of a Bloodied Kunai (Naruto), but I hadn't updated it in about a year and when I reread it I found it to be cringe-worthy at best. It's now safe and sound with the rest of the rotten things I've written. (I'm a big one for self-praise. Really!) What I do write (but mostly read) these days is Avatar: The Legend of Aang (or The Last Airbender, depending on where you're from). The characters and storylines can be so complex if you squint in just the right way. It's a shame that this was a kids show with a limited time frame, because there are so many ideas that could be expanded on. I guess that means it's free for fanfic writers to pursue! I was big into Harry Potter for a while, but while I'm still interested Avatar is taking over my life. I also dabble in Naruto, but I got quite fed up with the whole one chapter, one week at a time business, and abandoned it. I adore the characters too much to abandon them though, and have begun reading it again - from the beginning. It's gonna take a while... I've found myself straying into the crossovers section of this site more and more often, and have toyed with various ideas in that line of writing for a while. Aside from Avatar, it's what the plot-bunnies attack me with the most, and there's several of 'em brewing away in the back of my mind - three in particular, two of which are unrelated Avatar:TLA/Naruto fics, and one that is Naruto/Harry Potter. I'm in the belief that they are original, and a few hours browsing the crossovers section here seems to have confirmed that. One is started, I'm starting another as I'm writing this, and the third requires me to catch up on Naruto a bit more. I've, er, pretty much said everything I have to say. I'll be clearing out my Favourite's lists over the next while, since I'm not sure how some of it ended up there, but aside from that, that's it. I'm done. Finished. No more. Over and out. |
