I'm mostly on fictionpress these days for some of the non-roleplay fantasy writing forums, but sadly these aren't too active these days, so neither am I.

Hey! I'm known around here as ImaRocketDog, known elsewhere as Leanne Writes Stuff or simply Leanne.

So... yeah, it's been quite a long time since I've been here, and my fan fic-game is a little rusty. Being a college senior has kept me pretty busy, so these days I've mostly been juggling school, work, desperately searching for summer internships, and trying to get by writing blog off the ground. I've been kind of bummed with myself for a while that I've let my fiction writing fall by the wayside due to a combination of life pressures and writer's block sapping up most of my mojo, but I'm really hoping to turn that around for myself soon.

Unfortunately for anyone who might've enjoyed my long-neglected fan fics, all my old work is officially on hiatus, but I honestly doubt I will return to them, at least not anytime soon. My taste and style as a writer (and fan) have changed over the past few years, so I feel a bit far-removed from some of my old stories now, and I don't think I could continue to work on them from where I left off without serious revision. Also, you may notice that in the past I had a trend of starting these super-ambitious writing projects that I simply couldn't follow through with without losing steam. It's good to dream big, but I think I maaaaay have had a tendency to get a bit carried away with myself. XP

I would like to get back into fan fiction, but I think I should start fresh to do so. So yes, my apologies to anyone who did enjoy what I'd written in the past. I really do feel bad, because The Good Doctors, Adventures in Canon Warping/The Legio Twins Saga, and Nicole McGinnis were all very precious to me once and even now I still think about them. Maybe one day I'll continue what I started, but for now I'd like to try and concentrate on other things and hopefully put out some much better quality writing. I should also mention that my Beta-reader profile has (obviously) been defunct for a while, too, although there is a possibility that I may open up my beta-ing services again soon. So in the near future I may be up-and-running again as a beta primarily, though I might try to post a few new fics here every once in a while.

These days most of my writing is concentrated around my book review/writing blog, All Write-y Then, while devoting time to getting back into original fiction writing as well. I've also been working on some brainstorming and worldbuilding for a high fantasy novel series, although things and stuff have put that on hiatus for a while.
