![]() Author has written 9 stories for Pitch Black / Riddick, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, Stargate: SG-1, Star Trek: 2009, X-Men: The Movie, Captain America, and Criminal Minds. I'm from sunny Florida, and (like many) I'm an aspiring writer. I like to write fanfiction for anything I read or watch, though mainly just for practice. I am trying to write a book so I may use the same character more than once, but usually there will be slight differences in their personality, or I'll let the reader know it is linked to another of my stories. Truly I love to experiment with the same characters in several different scenarios or stages of their life. I'm trying to branch out, but it is very difficult. Currently I have only five stories posted up, four are still in progress. Soon I hope to have more stories posted, at least one from each of these categories: Stargate SG-1, Lord of the Rings, Criminal Minds, and Broadchurch. Also I'm always interested in co-writing or beta-ing just about any story for anyone. Favorite sayings: These sayings/quotes are key to describing my outlook in life. "When you fall in the mud, and friend will pull you out. But a best friend will be laughing 'cause they probably pushed you in!" =P "You and I, we know that the secret to life is butter." - 'Last Holiday' "Those who keep faith in the Lord shall renew their strength and rise on wings like eagles." - Isaiah 40:31 "She is clothed in strength and dignity, she can laugh at the days to come." - Proverbs 31:25 Playlists for writing: This is for anyone who is interested in listening to the music I listen to when writing or planning out these stories. Light of the World (Currently being rewritten, apologies to all following the story): Seal, specifically his CD from 1994 with 'Kiss From a Rose', 'Dreaming in Metaphor', 'Don't Cry', and 'Newborn Friend'. Kenny Loggins also plays a large role with songs 'All the Pretty Little Ponies', 'Last Unicorn' and others on the Return to Pooh Corner CD. I also listen to Nickleback's 'If Today Was Your Last Day' and 'Hero', and Suzanne Vega (particularly her Beauty and Crime CD). Ice Planet (Also being rewritten. I really need to do this story justice): Wide variety here mainly focused on Three Days Grace, Linkin Park, and Within Temptation. 'Frozen' is a particularly fitting one, lyric-wise. Reach For The Stars (Complete): All Loreena McKennitt, three albums in specific. These three are: An Ancient Muse, The Wind That Shakes The Barley, and Midwinter Night's Dream. Specific songs include 'Caravanserai', 'Kecharitomene', 'As I Rove Out', 'Noel Nouvelet', and 'Un Flambeau, jeanette, Isabelle' and a couple others. Skies On Fire (Complete): Special Loreena McKennitt Playlist assembled by tigereyednia on YouTube, along with "Multiple Love', 'Skies On Fire' and others by Paper Aeroplanes. Counting Stars: 'Counting Stars' by One Republic, and The Wailin' Jennys. Nameless: Kate Bush, Seal's "System" album, Foo Fighters, Skillet, and Within Temptation. Lies On Lies (One shot): 'Born Again' by Newsboys. Hiding the Truth (One shot): 'Starships' cover by Lindsey Stirling, surprisingly. General song inspirations include Third Day, Nightwish, Flyleaf, Celtic Voices CD, Amy Grant ('Carry You'), Nickleback, Nickel Creek, Dan Fogelberg, Thomas Bergersen, and any previously mentioned artists. |
