Shinji is chosen from amongst the multiverse to provide something to a mysterious benefactor following the fight against the 14th Angel. Starting over again, he chooses to try harder to be a better person. Unfortunately for Shinji, it isn't as easy as simply trying.

After the failed wedding attempt, Akane calls it quits. Now Nabiki is saddled with a morose Ranma. Rather than get caught in the crossfire between his other fiancees, she decides to try and help the pig-tailed martial artist figure out what HE wants (Warnings: Harem, implied Incest)

Shinji Ikari finds a boxful of insanity and becomes even more unhinged than before. Somehow, this is A Good Thing. As the grim dark future melts into stark bleak present, upon a throne of tropes humanity might find the savior it so requires. [story RESUMING]

It started as writing practice, but is now a chronicle of the bizarre variations of Shinji Ikari across the multi-verse, and the one poor schmuck stuck in canon NGE who dreams about them all. More literally, a place to throw story ideas at the wall and see what people like. Two spin offs in progress: No Life King Of Tokyo-3 and A Warrior From a Counter Earth.

The truth is, Shinji was sane when he came to Tokyo 3 the first time. The second time? Not so much. Needless to say, things get a -little- weird. Pilot-centric, love triangle, harems, yaoi yuri snowballing motorboating golfcarting ALL OF THE TAGS ON THIS BEACH. SEE THE REDUX VERSION FOR THE CONTINUATION.

There will be no Third Impact. There will be no Grand Revelation. There is no Apocalypse. No Armageddon. No Instrumentality. There will be rats in the ruins. There will be knives. There will be bodies. There will be little, nasty wars, and great, roiling wars. There will be humanity, and it will eat itself. And those who had defended it from the Angels will eat it's sins.

The world has reset once more. The Third Child finds himself clashing with the Third Angel once again. Loss and grief shake him to the core once more. But this time, he is not alone. Oh yes, and there will be fan service.

Everyone wears masks to hide some part of themselves. Naturally, some masks are better at hiding things than others. The best masks, like Ramna Saotome's, hide in plain sight. Who is Ranma beneath his mask? We'll let him tell you.

Take out all the Christian imagery and symbolism from NGE, and replace it with gods of two European cultures that were eradicated by the followers of Christ: the Celts and the Norse. Now, face the rulers of the ancient world. Ragnarok approaches, but can it be stopped? Today, the old gods live again. Today, the old gods die with them...but not so long as long as the raven flies.

What if the first battle with Sachiel, the Third Angel/Angel of Water ended more negatively? What if, due to factors unanticipated, the boy everyone forced to be a reluctant hero was reduced to a casualty? And if medical technology was available to save his life, drastic measures had to be taken to ensure his survival because a madman could care less? Wait for sequel story.

After the Zepplin affair in 1999, undead of all kinds were hunted down by humanity, eager to rid itself of its final predator. A being thought to be the original undead was found beneath the antarctic ice. Attempts to end it resulted in disaster known as Second Impact. 14 years later, The title of Sir Hellsing has passed to Cpt. Katsuragi of NERV, along with a certain vampire.

Like a butterfly's wings causing a hurricane the effects of a simple change can be long and far reaching- changes that drastically shift NERV's focus and the war against the angels.

Shinji is abducted at a young age from the care of his teacher and vanishes. After searching for years, NERV finally finds the Third Child in a war zone days before Sachiel's attack, serving as a child soldier in a secret PMC known as Iron Phoenix. Scarred by years of war, how will he react to being saved from one hell, only to be thrust into another?

Third Impact has come and gone, leaving a dead world behind. Only the being that once was Rei Ayanami remains... until someone shows up who gave Rei understanding of her loneliness in the first place. A minor temporal manipulation later the future is wide open again. What can an Angel do against a world that seems determined to meet its end?

When a few of my friends admitted they didn't understand the Old Testament religious symbolism in NGE, this is how I explained it to them. Yes, I'm insane.
