I was actually aware of fanfiction.net for some time…however it took quite a while for me to gather up the courage to finally join and begin making contributions… I am not a good writer…although I strive to be, I really do hope that I will learn a lot through well rounded reviews and constructive criticism and that over time m deplorable writing will be made half decent. A note on Yaoi and Yuri, the common misconception is that Yaoi and Shounên-ai (as well as Yuri and Shôjo-ai) are both one and the same, this is not so. The term Shounên-ai translates directly into “Boy Love” (whereas Shôjo-ai translates into “Girl Love”), which denotes the strong and passionate bond that exists between two members of the same gender, in fact until recently such terms were only used to refer to “brotherly/sisterly love” (i.e. a pair of close friends). Presently Shounên-ai and Shôjo-ai usually implies that a homosexual relationship is present, however NOT in the form of erotica, which is the case of Yaoi/Yuri. Mind you one can expect intimate actions to take place in Shounên-ai and Shôjo-ai, however most of what “goes down” is general fluff (i.e. kissing, snuggling, hugging, professing love ect…). Yaoi and Yuri on the other hand is Hentai (or Ecchi) with “gay” couples.

Please Note that any flames in regards to Shounên-ai…will be…eum…frowned upon (for the lack of a more suitable term)…I will try to insure that an ample Shounên-ai warning is issued prior to the beginning of the story…so if you do not approve you can choose to either bypass the “Shounên-ai portion” or to reject the story entirely…if properly forewarned the act of flaming an individual for writing a Shounên-ai coupling or supporting it in any way is indeed juvenile…I’m sorry…I do understand however that not everyone agrees with such pairings and I have full respect for that…I, in now manner what-so-ever condone anyone for holding their views…I apologize if I came off as such.
