Hello. My name is Michael or as my screen name implies: SALCEDAM. I was born on September 27, 1993 in the city of Manila, Philippines. My biological mother, currently known as Carina Tanaka, is Filipino and my biological father, Takeyuki Sano, is Japanese. I was born out of wedlock(which means that I was born from parents who weren't married at the time). When I was born, my biological father left my mother because he didn't want to take the responsibility to take care of me. Of course, my mother was poor herself so she was forced to put me up for adoption and I was luckily adopted by my mother's aunt and uncle. I was taken here to the US when I was about 13 months old and lived in Chicago for about 4 more years. Then, we decided to move to the suburb of Winnetka and have been living here since. I'm currently in 8th grade and I go to Carleton W. Washburne School.

I currently play three instruments: piano, violin, and organ. I currently only take violin lessons but I still play piano for community plays and such(and I get paid too). I like playing video games and I also like reading books. I am currently waiting for the fourth book in the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn. I started reading fan fiction because my friend got me into it and I wanted to write some of my own, but alas, I have no writing skill at all but I shall attempt at writing my own fanfics and someday, people will read them and actually enjoy them.
