Poll: I plan on writing a series of Cars one-shots and short stories. I plan on writing for all of these story ideas (and many more) but which one should I publish first? These are the ideas I have got currently: Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 13 stories for Wild Wild West, Mr. Lucky, Cars, and Hetalia - Axis Powers. UPDATE: Just wanted to apologise for the slow updates. I recently moved house and got a new job and that's been keeping me busy. Just wanted to let you know I have NOT abandoned my stories, but updates will be slower. I apologise for the inconvenience. KA-CHOW! Hello there my fellow fans, and welcome! I'm Agent Sandra Cartrip, but you can call me Sandra :) If my image and username didn't tip you off, I am a die-hard Cars fan--and by die hard, I mean as much as Luigi and Guido loves Ferraris! Not trying to come across as a braggart or anything, but I actually do consider myself to be one of the biggest Cars fans out there! I have been a diehard fan since 2015 and have recently seen Cars 3 after waiting for it for almost two years! I can hardly believe it has happened! I have also been writing since I was nine and am a proud two-year Fanfiction member. Aside from being a massive Cars fan, I am also a Hetalia addict, Anglophile (huge fan of Great Britain, especially England), a massive retro lover, huge classic car fan, car racing fan, animal rights activists, feminist, and pro-life. Here are some other things you might fancy to know about me: Real name: Is Sandra my real name? I'm sure you'll never know. (Semi-quoting Finn McMissile from Cars 2: the Video Game). Age: 19 Gender: Female (if that wasn't obvious by my name!) Date of Birth: 9 February Country/Nationality: I must confess that I am technically American, having been born in Florida (but no longer living there, sadly). But deep down inside I am British in my heart and soul. One of my biggest goals is to move to the United Kingdom someday. I would love to live in England, possibly even in London. The irony is that I have actually never been, but I would love to get the chance to visit it someday! I would also like to live in France, Belgium, Hungary, Austria, Romania and perhaps even Switzerland as well. Religion: Spiritual Agnostic, but leaning Jewish Sexual Orientation: Straight demisexual Race: Caucasian (European White) Heritage: Mostly German and English, along with some Irish, Scottish, French, and some possible Polish or Russian. Occupation: I currently work as a server at a retirement home and I am a two-year college graduate as of summer 2018 Favourite Films: Cars, Cars 2, and Cars 3 obviously! They are THE best films ever!!! (I actually saw Cars 3 in theatre on premiere day and it was SMASHING!!!) I hate the people who say Cars 2 sucks and that it should be wiped clean off the earth, because they are WRONG! My other favourite films are the original Herbie films, the original Star Wars films, pretty much any Disney or Pixar film. Favourite TV shows: Cars Toons, The Wild Wild West (I also enjoyed the two reunion films), Mr. Lucky, Gilligan's Island, Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Andy Griffith Show, Johnny Quest, The Big Bang Theory, Only Fools and Horses. Favourite anime: Hetalia, Black Butler, Noragami Favourite Books: The Art of Cars, The Art of Cars 2, any Cars or Planes books, Nancy Drew, The Charmed Children of Rookskill Castle, the American Girl series, Sherlock Holmes, A Little Princess, James Herriot stories, most manga...but with the exception of Cars fanfics, I'm not much of a reader. :p Favourite Musical Artists: The Beach Boys, Carly Simon, The Carpenters, Elton John, Gloria Estefan, Henry Mancini, Petula Clark, The Righteous Brothers, Sarah Brightman Favourite Music Types: Vocaloid, rock and roll, opera, jazz, soul, Latin, European, Asian/Oriental, Middle Eastern, African, hot rod rock, electronica, (especially J-Pop and K-pop) Languages I speak: English is my native language but I am learning the following (based on proficiency, which is still in the early stages): French, Spanish, Dutch, German, Czech, Polish, Italian, Russian, Hungarian, Romanian, Ukrainian, Greek, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (the last 3 are VERY limited, but also fun to learn!) *Feel free to talk to me in any of the above languages! I am always looking for someone to practise my language skills with! I will do my best to converse but do bear in mind that I may need a translator at times, so I apologise for any misunderstandings!* Favourite Foods: Fish and chips, sushi, bangers and mash, shrimp, pizza margarita, pasta (PASTA VEE XD), lasagne, meatballs, gelato, dark chocolate, beef stroganoff, chicken Kiev...if it's European or Asian then I probably love it XD Favourite Beverages: Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, lemonade, almond/soy milk Favourite Celebrities: Robert Conrad, Ross Martin, Paul Newman, Sir Michael Caine, Jason Isaacs, Emily Mortimer, J Michael Tatum Favourite Games: Cars: Fast as Lightning, Cars: Lightning League...I don't do a whole lot of gaming sadly though I would like to become a more active gamer. Likes/Interests: Car racing, travelling, writing, drawing, painting, going on rides (be it car, plane, train, boat, amusement park ride, ect.), studying world culture, learning languages, cosplay, trying new ethnic restaurants Dislikes: Cold weather, school, slow internet, people hating on Cars (or Cars 2. It's a completely smashing film and I have never understood why it got so hated), most yaoi/yuri, mpreg, people who are sexist, sex discrimination, people who think cars and racing are only for boys, racism, horror films, romantic comedies (some are all right but for the most part I find them rather boring), stereotypes (I actually find them funny if they're done humorously *cough cough* Hetalia *cough cough, but if people take them literally then I do find it offensive), pairings that violate canon (such as Finn/Holley and Lightning/OC), the Jackson Storm/Cruz Ramirez pairing, American culture. Dreams/Goals: To become a seasoned world traveller and work in the travel business, move to the UK, travel Europe and Asia, see Disney World and Disney Land and most importantly of all, bring joy to people through my writing and arts, as I would love to inspire people and encourage creativity in others through my works. Favourite Cars characters: Darrell Cartrip, Finn McMissile, Holley Shiftwell, Lightning McQueen, Doc Hudson, Sheriff, Leland Turbo, Rod "Torque" Redline, Cruz Ramirez, Ramone, Flo, Cal Weathers, Louise Nash. Favourite Hetalia characters: Britain/England, America, France, Canada, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Belgium, Taiwan, China, Japan Other social media: You can find me on YouTube, Pinterest, Tumblr, Wattpad, Instagram, Picarto, A03/Archive of Our Own and Deviantart as Agent Sandra Cartrip! I am also on Discord as AgentSandraCartrip#0391 (I am VERY active there so feel free to chat and say hi!). I also now have got a Cars themed Google site I'm working on that will provide in-deph information on my fanfics however it is a work in progress and not ready to be shown. Favourite Cars quotes: Mater: I knew it! I knowed I made a good choice! Lightning: In what? Mater: My best friend. Sarge: Will you turn that disrespectful junk OFF? Fillmore: Respect the classics, man! It's Hendrix! Mack: Hey... they're just using the same actor over and over. What kind of cut-rate production is this? Sally: Even here, in hillbilly hell, we have standards Mater: [Fishing for something from the bottom of a cliff] Look at this! It's my hood! It's my hood! I ain't seen this thing in twenty yeas! [Puts it on] Well, it fits perfectly. How do I look? [Sneezes, the bonnet falls back down the cliff] Aw, dang. Mater: [hurriedly] Hey, listen, listen! If anybody asks you, we was out smashin' mailboxes, OK? Sheriff: MATER! Mater: I wasn't tractor-tippin'! Sheriff:Then where'd all these gol-darn tractors come from? Doc Hudson: I'll put it to you simple. If you turn hard enough left, you'll find yourself going right. Sheriff: I haven't gone this fast in years. I'm gonna blow a gasket or somethin'. Mack: Whoever does the voice of that little piggy truck, I must tell ya, he's one great actor! Finn McMissile: I never properly introduced myself: Finn McMissile, British Intelligence. Mater: Tow Mater, average intelligence. Uncle Topolino: A wise car hears one word and understands two.. Tod "Torque" Redline: (to the Lemons) I was wearing a disguise. You're stuck looking like that. Finn McMissile: Being killed by a clock. Gives a whole new meaning to "Your time has come". Finn McMissile: Now, that's how I like to start the day - you never feel more alive than when you're almost dead. Holley Shiftwell: This cannot be him. Finn McMissile: Is he American? Mater: [swinging his tow cable] Look out, ladies. Mater's fittin' to get funky! Holley Shiftwell: Extremely Finn McMissile: Do you really think I'm going to let you float away, Professor? "Never underestimate the classics" ~Finn McMissile "Time to put out all the stops" ~Finn McMissile "It's bigger than anything we have ever seen, and no-one even knows it exists!" ~Leland Turbo "Prepare to see an expert at work" ~Finn McMissile Darrell Cartrip: Bob, my oil pressure's through the roof right now! If this gets any more exciting, they're gonna have to tow me out of the booth! Finn McMissile: You kids get all the good hardware. Mater: You know I'm just a tow truck, right? Finn McMissile: Right. And I'm just in the import-export business. Other quotes: All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them--Walt Disney You can achieve all the things you want to do, but it's much better to do it with loved ones around you; family and friends, people that you care about that can help you on the way and can celebrate you, and you can enjoy the journey." —John Lasseter "Why go out for a hamburger when you can have a stake at home?" --Paul Newman "In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so." "Be like a duck. Calm on the surface, but always paddling like the dickens underneath" ~Michael Caine "Those boring stories are called history, and it's time you made some of your own" ~England, Hetalia RULES FOR REVIEWS AND PMS: I LOVE getting reviews and PMs because it makes me so happy to see others enjoy my work. However, there are some rules I do have for reviewing, so please look these over before leaving a review or sending a PM. 1. Please limit bad language. I don't mind mild language, but please don't abuse it. 2. Please DO NOT flame me. I understand not everyone is into the same fandoms as I am and not everyone is going to enjoy my stories, which is perfectly all right. I do appreciate constructive criticism, but I shall not tolerate hate--on me, the stories, the characters, ect. To quote Thumper from Bambi "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." On top of that, no fighting or flaming with fellow reviewers. 3. Please keep the reviews on the story and author's notes. In other words, please don't leave reviews that are off-topic from the story. 4. Please use proper grammar and spelling. I shall remove a review if it is full of spelling errors I cannot begin to comprehend. 5. When leaving a review, please tell me exactly what you like about the story. Reviews such as "nice story" or "this is good" don't really tell me anything. I don't expect long reviews full or paragraphs, but I would like a couple of sentences on what you liked best. 6. I DO NOT DO REQUESTS. I do NOT have the time and honestly, I much rather prefer spending time pursuing my own interests than writing for others. I am willing to offer help, suggestions, and writing advice, but writing requests WILL BE IGNORED. If you need help, I encourage you to look at my beta reading profile. All my stories are canon to the Cars films and to each other unless otherwise noted. | |||||||
