My Original Story

So I have recently started to work on an original story that's been floating around in my head for a while and I have got the two main characters with a secondary character.

The story is set in a futuristic setting and is a fantasy sci-fi story. The basic idea is that Earth has become barren and not fit for life so humanity has migrated to other planets. There are four main planets, each called Alpha, Beta, Delta and Omega, and are designated Quadrants. In order to keep the peace and to make sure what happened to Earth does not happen to the Quadrants, there are several posts that help to look after the Quadrants, each post identifiable by their eye colour. At the very bottom are the civilians. They simply go about their everyday life and hold normal(ish) occupations. Then there are the FleetFeet. They're like the police of each city in a Quadrant and have pale blue eyes. They are called the FleetFeet because they are specially picked according to how fast they are.

Next is the Instruments. There are at least five Instruments in each city, in each Quadrant and are idetifiable by their bright red eyes. All five are uniform in their special abilities, in that there is always a Telepath or Chameleon in each city. The five abilities are Telepathy, Telekinesis, Teleportation, A Knitt and a Chameleon. The first three are obvious abilities. A Knitt is basically a Healer, able to fix or destroy anything in an organic body. A Chameleon has the ability to change their appearance and anything in their general vicinty. An example would be, they would change their appearance and become an alleycat, they could change the area within five feet of them into an alley.

Next is the Runners. Identifiable by their purple eyes, they have the ability to run between cities and the Quadrants with amazing speed. They are different to the FleetFeet and Teleporters because they run at a normal speed and are able to be seen by the organic eye. I suppose the best way to dezcribe it would be, when they start to run, they...alter time, so they can carry the message to each city before a designated time. They are essentially the messengers of the Quadrants.

The second highest post is a Keeper. Recognisable by their yellow/gold eyes, a Keeper keeps (ironically). There are various branches of a Keeper however. There are Chronicle Keepers. They look after the records and are like historians. They have pale gold eyes. There are Council Keepers. They are like bodyguards to the three council members on each Quadrant and have dark gold eyes. There are Gate Keepers and Border Keepers and they are essentially the guards of each city, watching over the gates and borders and have really dark, almost black, yellow eyes. And there are Capital Keepers. They have normal gold eyes and keep each Capital protected and informed. They also escort Runners to the Council and back.

Then there is the Council. They all have white eyes and are the rules. There are three Councillors in each Quadrant and each have a job. The Peace Councillor stands for peace, the Health Councillor stands for health and the Infinite Councillor stands for...well, everything else.

The main character is Fala, Alpha Runner on the Omega Quadrant. She is seventeen and commands every Runner on the whole Omega planet. She is only under her Alpha; Soren. When Runners start disppearing on the Delta Quadrant, Fala's best friend (though she wouldn't call him that) Token, a Beta Runner, comes to ask for her aid in finding out what is happening. Intially, when Token tells her he believes the Council is up to something, she angrily dismisses him. However, when Mian, a part of a triplet set of Runners, tells her Sian wanted to warn her of something before she disappeared, Fala starts to think something is up. This is only confirmed when Lian too disappears, after wishing to warn Mian of danger in the Capital. Fala travels to Delta to find Token and he tells her that his Alpha Runner June has disappeared inside the Capital and June's Alpha Inas has been declared a criminal.

The other main character is Roran, Alpha Commander of the Delta Capital Keepers. He is twenty-three and is the head Capital Keeper. He is willing to listen to everyone and is fair. However, he has a dark secret and when Fala and Token come to Delta Capital to see the Council, he is ordered to dispose of them and takes them away. However, when Fala lets it out that her Runners are disappearing along with Token's, he lets them go. Later, he is ordered by Hahl, the Peace Councillor, to make "sure that Beta Runner Token does not let this slip".

Token is a secondary character and the Beta Runner of the Delta Quadrant. He is nineteen and is the best friend of Fala. After he and Fala are thrown out of Delta Capital, Token disappears.

I have this thing I do when creating characters. I imagine them in my head then pin the best actress or actor to play them, or in an anime case, I create them. (-_-') Weird I know but it's just how I roll. So, in light of a few messages, sent mainly by my friends both on FF and the real world, I have a list of my characters.
