In the aftermath of her fight with Zaheer, Korra is a broken shell of the powerful woman she once was and must reevaluate her life, and what is important in it. The emotional strain being at Korra's side has started to get to Asami and prompts her to be open to a new experience. Taking place after the conclusion of season 4 and the defeat of Kuvira, this story follows Asami Sato and Avatar Korra's interactions with one another and their attempts to stabilize their respective and combined lives. Told primarily through Asami's perspective with the aid of several flashbacks. Written before the series finale, resulting in a few canon inconsistencies.
