Hey guys!

I guess this is where i tell about myself, so here i go!

I'm a 15 yr old american girl trying to make her way through highschool.

I love to read and write

I show dogs very competitively so forgive me that i don't always update my stories quickly because it's a lot of work with the dogs and I'm gone almost everyweekend.

I love harry potter, my fav fics to read are James/Lily or Harry/Ginny pairings, though anything with the Marauders are good.

To start out, I show shelties (also known as shetland sheepdogs, they look basically like little lassie dogs...) and my younger sister has toy fox terriers (they kinda look like a chihuahua with long legs...). Almost every weekend we drive as much as 7 hrs away to go to shows to compete. At the shows the dogs in the regular competition which is what u see on TV sometimes is where judges judge the dogs structure based on what they were orignally bred for and things that are desireable in any dog, and for each breed the description of the ideal dog is the breed standard. The judges then pick which dog they think is the closest to the ideal dog of that breed. Another thing i also do at dog shows is a competition call junior showmanship where kids 9-17 show their dogs but instead of the dog being judged, the way the kids handle the dogs is judged bc there really is a lot more than running around in a circle when showing your dog.

that was just to give u an idea of what it's about. I love it so much. maybe my next fic after i finish Beauty and The Prat will have something more about the dog shows in it...
