French Immersion Association

That’s ‘immersion’ as in to submerge in water by the way

Have you ever felt an insane need to drown the French language?

Specifically the grammar?

Who knew that you could invent so many verb tenses and then actually expect people to remember them all and use them on a daily basis

This is our little guild of highly annoyed students who ended up taking French as a second language or langue seconde

We could write in French if we really wanted to

But most of us don’t (with one possible exception)

And if we did it would be full of grammatical mistakes

Or everything would be written in one tense, like imparfait, or present

At the moment there should be around five people who will actually be posting. There might be more, or less depending on how lazy we are and how many of our friends decide they want to post something too.

We decided to make a guild because:

1. We’d probably have never bothered to make our own individual accounts

2. Even if one of us doesn’t update anything for a while someone else will so the account won’t just sit around completely unchanging

3. It means that writing merry-go-round or joint stories will be easier

Anyway, on to the introductions of the members of the F.I.A.!

This paragraph belongs to Armaya… well technically I wrote the intro too, but that aside. Out of all of us in this guild I’m probably the one with the most muses, totaling eleven (crazy? most definitely) I also have five wraiths and two consciences, all of which will probably show up at one point or another. My alter ego Tiria will also show up every once in a while (She gets sent in to the potentially dangerous situations). Out of the F.I.A. I’m also the one with the most dismal French grammar. I can speak the language fine but when it comes to writing… it’s bad. So I’ll spare all of you who have French as a first language and stick to writing in English.

This paragraph belongs to Penguin. I have three muses, and I have many made up characters that randomly pop in my head. I get annoyed very easily, and frankly, just writing this paragraph is making me POed. This is the third time dammit! Stupid save changes button can't be bothered to SAVE THE BLOODY CHANGES!Anywho, I prefer drawing over writing so I am probably gonna be the one who doesn't update as often as the other member of the F.I.A. I still write, but not as often as drawing. You should see my day planner.I also like to switch from French to English when I am talking. It confuses the person I am talking to, et leur expression is priceless. ;)

This third (and best) paragraph belongs to myself, Regis. I will probably be the one with the worst and most gruesome stories (I will aslo probably have the least amount of them), if you don't like them don't read them. I don't really have any muses, instead I have assassins, I don't really have a set number of them, I just make them when I need more. They are just as effective as muses and are licensed to kill things!BONUS! At this point there is only on set assassin and his name is Matryn (don't laugh at the sad name its not my fault I'm creatively challenged!). . . . .(5mins later) whoa! A warning to all Itunes users, never stare directly into the pretty swirly music thing, I was just sucked into its vortex of psychosis. I, as you might know (if you do you're a creepy stalker person) I am a very violent and empathy-less person, so please don't be afraid of what my assassins and myself do, it only comes naturally and we just can't help ourselves! Anyhoo, to summarize the paragraph: don't expect much, no matter how long and hard you grovel I will never-less destroy!

Ok, as of so far I have no muses, err...I haven't written any fics since '03, the name means "storm" in Japanese, and like Miss Pingu up there I'm more into drawing than writing. Penguin here. Uh...guys. I think it could be spelt anyway, because it kind of has the same pronounciation... That also explains why Arashi took my pencil case and said it was spelt P.I.N.G.U. Frankly, I don't think it's worth much to start a war...
