And it's Loki, who has been banished to Jotunheim for his actions against Earth and Asgard. The Avengers come to Frozen Realm to collect him. But what if things have changed? After The Avengers defeat Loki, he's shut away in an Asgardian cave prison. Loki hates himself; that's a fact. Perhaps even Thor doesn't stand him either. After a year of sitting in a cell alone, Loki is sentenced to live with Tony Stark as a mortal. Clint Barton and a deaged Loki are captured by bounty hunters. After they escape, Loki shuts down due to trauma from torture and Clint must take care of him while trying to find a way back to earth. Thor brings Loki back to earth for his protection against the angry Asgardians, but under a spell that makes him younger when he uses magic. The Avengers relocate to Stark tower until the demigods return to Asgard for Loki's sentencing. They can fight together, but can they live together? And is redemption possible for any of them? To save Loki from a millennium of being imprisoned alone, Thor takes his brother to Earth to seek haven with the Avengers. Typical Asgardian torture consists of beatings, solitary confinement- torture. But that was too nice for Loki to have. Instead of dealing with it themselves- they send their son to Thanos for punishment. Now with Thor as the new king, and the Avengers in Asgard- Loki's return home will not run smoothly- and a dark intimacy sprouts between him- and the least suspected hero, Barton.

After Loki is punished for his crimes, he and Thor are sent back to Midgard to help the Avengers rebuild Manhattan. But when it becomes obvious that Loki is unwell physically as well as mentally, relationships are strained and healed as well as created.
