![]() Author has written 2 stories for Wizard of Oz, and The Santa Clause. I've been writing since I was 12 years old. I found this website a while back, and have been enjoying the stories ever since. For a while, there were a number of stories I was afraid to have published because I was worried about copyrights, but now, after reading into this site, I see an opportunity to share my stories safely with the public. Despite what my absent Chinese flag says, I'm actually from the US. How it got that way is anyone's guess, lol. I mostly write sci-fi & fantasy, but I like to throw a little romance, action, and humor in too ;) I've got several novels in the works, and I work on whichever one suits my fancy at the given time. Eventually I'll get them published. I read a lot, since hearing the voices of other authors helps develop my own. I'm a huge Disney fan, & my fave movie from that group is "Beauty & the Beast." I also love animals, studying science & ancient history, and totally enjoy making art or admiring it :) I now have a DeviantArt account, with images I've made using dress-up games. Feel free to take a look :) You might even see images from my fanfics at some point. I'm not gonna list my fave movies because I like too many and it would be impractical to list them all on this profile. A friend of mine got me started in all this. Her name is x-xMasqueradeAngelx-x, & I followed her fanfic, Life & Love, A New Beginning in the past year. She's a very good writer & does an awesome job on her stories. The one mentioned is about Hellboy, & I never thought I'd become a real Hellboy fan until I read her work ;) She's written other fanfics too, so feel free to check out her profile. x-xMasqueradeAngelx-x is currently writing a new Hellboy fanfic that is an alternate version of "Life & Love," called Hellboy III: Angels of Life & Death. She's still in the process of writing, now that "Life & Love" is finished, so take a look at it. It's very good. Some of the movies I'm interested in writing about are: Wizard of Oz The Santa Clause & the Santa Clause II Sabrina the Teenage Witch Kingdom of Heaven The Brothers Grimm (2005) Alice in Wonderland Avatar There will probably be others, but those are the ones I feel like focusing on right now :) I'll confess right now that most of my fanfics are not precisely stories that use canon characters, but very closely relate to the films listed above. (As mentioned in my author's notes), they were all originally supposed to be fantasy novels, but I didn't realize until a few months ago just how useful (and fun) this site could be in sharing them :) Here's a list of my fanfics: Eldan's Mage: This was a story I started back when I was 15-18, tho I kinda lost interest after a while. It tells an updated version of the 1939 film "Wizard of Oz." It's about a young lady named Dena, who lives in Nebraska with her Nana & her puppy Tahoe. She had always wanted to leave Nebraska, but didn't expect a twister to do it for her. Nor did she expect to end up in a magical world called Eldan, which is ruled by a Mage, and is full of all sorts of weird, magical creatures. It's gonna take a lot of determination, (as well as the help of 3 special friends), for Dena to find her way back home. Christmas for the Elves: I began this tale on the Winter Solstice of 2003. My inspiration for it comes from the “Santa Clause” films. It was originally a novel about a young elf/human named Melena, who is carried away from her renaissance village to the North Pole by a flying reindeer. There she joins the Elf Community and tries to find a place for herself. At the same time, Melena makes friends and has to deal with the bad-tempered Head Elf Bernard, all while helping the other elves & Santa get ready for Christmas. (I'll add more stories here as I publish them). A Note to all Anonymous Viewers who are NOT members of this site: Writing is a very long process, especially if you want good work. Any idiot can slap on a $hitty story within a few weeks (just look at all the lousy movies/TV shows Hollywood cranks out every year). I'm not like that, nor can I always afford to suit your "I want it now!" fancy in writing my stories. I've had a lot of things happen in my life recently, and often I run into Writer's Block or am simply not in the mood to write due to depression. I also do not appreciate cowards who review and can't even give me a chance to answer them back. So if I'm not writing fast enough for you little $hits, TOO DAMN BAD!!! |
