Snowstar rushed through the foggy darkness of the night.Her paws seemed to lift off the ground and fly.She couldn't take it any more.She couldn't take knowing how much off a threat Ragestar was.She must go...somewhere far away from her clan...She stumbled into him.Ragestar.His shadow engulfed her as he sprang on to the paniked Snowstar.She tried flinging him off,but he didn't move.He tore his claws through her flesh and watched vengfully as the blood poured.Snowstar wailed in anguish.She cried for help.No matter how many times she cried,noone came to her rescue.Ragestar slashed at her mouth and she coughed up blood.He tore through her and aimed for her eyes.She feebly tried protecting them,but her grip couldn't hold.He ripped through her arms moving them away from her eyes.He tore violently at them.Before she felt death take her,something crept out of the darkness.It was her mother Caterpillarheart.She gazed at her and told her to help her,even though she knew she couldn't be saved.Caterpillarheart whispered,"Tantrum and ice shall meet in battle.5 will become 2.Death will strike.Blood will be spilt.A star shall fall,and fury shall diminish the forest."Caterpillarheart without another word disappeared into the rising sun.Snowstar felt everything grow cold.Her eyes turned into steel,lifeless pools.The words echoed in her head with every heartbeat she took.She took one last breath and sighed.The pain was gone.She was dead.Ragestar stood over her,smirking evily.He kicked bits of dirt on her and covered her with leaves.He looked one last time at her and fled for Bloodclan.

Snowstar woke up with a feeling of doom and dread tearing through her.The words repeated themselves in her head many times.It had something to do with all of the clans.Especially Bloodclan.All leaders including Snowstar herself had many moons before agreed to letting Bloodclan take part in gatherings,naming ceramonies,etc.The REAL 4 clans had basically taught them the warrior code and the mighty ways of Starclan.Snowstar didn't and had never liked the idea of adding Bloodclan to the list of clans.That only gave the 4 clans more troubles than before.It gave them one more clan to lookout for,it had taken valuable time,and it had added a untrustworthy clan.For who could know when Bloodclan could suddenly turn their backs on the clans and destroy them.It gave Snowstar a chill even thinking about it.She gazed up at the fading stars of silverpelt.Starclan guide me.I can't do this alone,she thought.It was almost morning.Today was the gathering.She rose to her paws and padded out to address her clan.Surprisingly,already half of them were assembled.Her deputy,Dragonheart,leapt off of Highledge.He was relived that the leader had woke up.He would've had to make an announcement himself if she hadn't.Snowstar glared at him.He shouldn't have been up there in the first place!It was almost morning!NOT sunhigh!Her temper cooled as she relized the anxiety in his eyes.She called for the rest of the clan.
