i'm big into music. i'm absolutely obsessed w/ a band called enter the haggis. they're an awesome celtic/rock band. i also play guitar and i sing...a lot. i have a singing habit. i love opera. The Marriage of Figaro, being my favourite! (i love mozart!) i love the beatles, bob marley, the chieftans, nirvana, audioslave, blink 182, the tannihill weavers, stabbing westward, joan baez, the 5th dimension, i could go on and on, but i won't. :)

i'm a senior in high school, and graduation cannot come soon enough! i hope to study vocal performance and european history when i get to college.

i love to read. my favourite authors include: jrr tolkien(the lord of the rings trilogy), jk rowling(harry potter), diana gabaldon(the outlander series--my favourite books EVER), tamora pierce(the song of the lioness series), marion zimmer bradly(the mists of avalon), phillipa gregory(the queen's fool, the other boleyn girl, and other books), shakespeare, tracy chevalier(girl with the pearl earring, fallen angels), w. somerset maugham(of human bondage), phillip pullman (his dark materials series), arthur golden(memoirs of a giesha), boris pasternak(dr. zhivago), cs lewis(chronicles of narnia). just to name a few.

some of my other interests include, doing my best to stalk orlando bloom(ok, so not really stalk, but i'd like to), knitting (i'm not a geek! i'm getting in touch w/ my inner grandma!!!!), and politics(i'm passionate about politics!).
