Wotcher to the whole fanfiction community! My name is Sara, I'm seventeen.

I suppose on here, you're supposed to talk about yourself? Well;

I am the biggest Harry Potter fan around! I began reading it when my friend gave GoF to me eight years ago. Since then, I've been hooked! (But hey, who doesn't get hooked when they read the books?)

A little bit about moi:

I am a Christian. Yes, I do enjoy Harry Potter. Very much so.

I am first and foremost a Harry/Ginny shipper. I love the pairing.

Secondly, I ship Ron/Hermione. They're too sweet.

Both the Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione pairing seem so cliched, but I don't care.

I cannot stand Harry/Hermione. It's just... not right. They're siblings, not lovers. Okay? Okay.

Really, I support all canon ships. I know this is FANfiction, but I usually can't make myself read a story that contains non-canon pairings. If you're a good writer, you may get lucky.

I hate slash. I just cannot make myself read it.

I can't stand when someone has Hermione, Ginny and every other character in their fic call Ron 'Ronald' every time his name comes up. That name is reserved for when someone is angry - very angry - with him. It's not in-character for him to be called 'Ronald' constantly. It's just not.

Speaking of, Hermione's name is Hermione. Not 'Mione, Hermy or Herms. Just don't. Please.

No matter what you're writing (I guess unless it's intended to be that way) the characters should be in-character. I don't care if it's a totally original story, it won't be believable at all unless the characters are in-character.

Now that I've ranted (hehe) I want to add that I love well written Sirius/Harry bonding, with no slash in sight. Sirius is by far one of my favourite characters from the series, and it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside when I read those kind of stories.

I also enjoy reading AU stories where Harry and Ginny start out not knowing each other or hating each other (I hope you catch my drift) and they end up falling in love. Cliched, I know, but I can't help it. They do have to be well written and well thought out, plot wise!
