Books

Harry Potter - Of course who doesn't love this series? Favourite in the series would have to be POA and HBP.

Meg Cabot - Absolute genius of an author, if you haven't read her books I highly recommend them. They include Princess Diaries, Mediator (my fav series), Missing (or 1800 where are you), and many other single titles. Seriously if you're a girl or even if you're a guy go read them.

Anne Bishop - Her Black Jewels Trilogy is about the best dark fantasy I have ever read. If your a fantasy fan and can handle some dark issues read them. Also love the Tir Alainn series and adore the Landscapes of Ephemera series (Sebastian and Belladonna).

Phillipia Gregory - love The other Boleyn girl even though I know historically its not completely accurate.

Emily Rodda - Her Deltora Quest series is fantastic and she's Australian too.

Libba Bray - If you're a fan of fantasy and history definitely go and read A Great and Terrible Beauty and its sequels Rebel Angels and That Sweet Far Thing.

Television Shows

Stargate SG1 - The best SciFi show on television, I can't praise it enough.

Alias - finally getting to see the last season, love this show especially the gorgeous Mr Sark.

Battlestar Galatica (2003) - love the storylines and complex characters.

Doctor Who (new) and Torchwood - Over the last year I've gotten addicted to these shows. Love the intricate plotlines and the crazy stories told.

Heroes - Am hooked, enough said.

Gilmore Girls - only recently started to watch this show an am hooked. Love the snappy, funny dialogue between the characters.

One Tree Hill/The O.C - Come on everyone has to have a guilty pleasure and these shows are mine.

Smallville - Am a Lois/Clark fan, come on they're meant to be!

The West Wing - Funny, smart drama with lovable characters and stories that really makes you think.

Sailor Moon,- got me started on anime, an absolute classic of humor, drama, romance and adventure.

Gundam Wing - Love the plot, the different personalities of the pilots, the secondary characters and how detailed this anime is.

Star Wars - Its a classic, one of the best scifi films out.
